Bought this yarn winder and was super excited to put it together... one of the flyer arms couldn't even be installed because a burr on the screw hole stopped the screw from going in. Directions are also awful that come with it so good luck!

The product itself is fine. However, you need to figure out how to put it together on your own. The sheet with supposed directions is not helpful.

This is the 3rd winder i bought, the first works but is very small, cant even wind up a # 3 3.5oz and the second claims 2 wind 10oz but couldn't wind up the 3.5oz #4 nicely, it was very messy and knotted the yarn up, but this one is perfect, winds cakes up beautifully, for the ppl saying it dosent work, i tried forst putting the yarn tail through both of the “hands” and it was 2 tight, i put through only one that moves and then through the stationary one as well and thats what worked perfectly.

Love this product. Works great and is going to make winding my yarn so much easier. Love the large capacity potential on this winder compared to others. My only complaint is it needs better assembly instructions. I am fairly mechanically inclined so was able to figure it out even with hardly no instructions, so too pff a point for that. Overall i would give this a 9.5 out of 10...plus i haven't even worked with all the little extras you get with this.

out of the box assembly takes some thinking as the instructions are very unclear. I had to reference the product photos to see how it should look because the drawings in the pamphlet were unhelpful. The screws will come loose with use so I had to add some loctite to get them to stay tight. Also the first guiding arm for the yarn goes on opposite of the product photo I initially referenced otherwise the yarn will continuously pop out during winding.Now that I have it working as intended it is an okay product. It loses two stars due to not having a good way of tightening the screws and for the assembly instructions being practically useless.

When product arrived the packaging was damaged, and for whatever reason I couldn’t get it assembled. Waste of money.Product is very loud when I even tried to turn it
