This was really helpful but the rivets that attached to the winder itself broke off fairly easy making it unusable.

Works as advertised and is cleaning up my scrap yarn and loose skeins nicely. I wish I bought this earlier. You do have to kind of hold the yarn for tension but that doesn’t bother me at all.

This is such a helpful item to have if you typically buy yarn in long hanks. I used to have my husband hold the yarn on his hands while I wound it, but this gadget is way more cooperative and won't leave the room claiming it's bored and has better things to do. The yarn winds evenly so it's easy to knit with. A wonderful find!

Edited: Manufacturer reached out after seeing the review and sent a whole new replacement unit. The email I found after posting I don’t believe is the correct one for customer service.Works fine but missing the wing nut to secure it to a table top. Cant find a place to message the seller to get it handled either. Sent a couple emails with no response

Very happy with this yarn winder, it can get a bit messy and you have to unwind it, but 99% of the time, does a perfect job. It makes very neat cakes of yarn. Very easy to set up and use.

It made my yarn messy and I had to hold the yarn tight so it would roll into a semi-uniform cake. No matter how tight I secured it to the table, it would always come loose and I would have to stop to tighten it back up. For $26, I would think I would get a decent product. The center part that the yarn rolls around kept coming off. After two hours of trying to use this product, I gave up. It’s definitely a cheaply made product and I regret spending the money. I’ll just go back to hand rolling.

This is an amazing deal. I have used and lusted after the really expensive wooden sets over the years but didn't want to spend the money and instead would set out a skein and wind it over a couple of days, when time permitted. Now I can wind a whole skein in 5 minutes flat. The swift is easy to extend with one hand while holding the skein taut with the other hand, and the ball winder turns smoothly and has a great tension arm. When I'm finished I move two small metal arms and both items fit right back in their box, even though they are cute enough to leave out. The pink colour is a lovely bonus and the price is unbeatable considering these things are solidly built. A must for anyone that buys mostly skeined yarn to knit with as my days of chasing rolling balls all over the floor are through and my caked yarn sits nicely in the bag on the floor as I knit. Love it!

Très bon enrouleur pour pelotes, il faut prendre le coup de main pour bien s'approprier l'objet et après ça fonctionne très bien. Il est plus facile de tricoter avec une pelote mise en boule, ce que fait cet appareil. Satisfaction au rendez-vous.
