These work to make pompoms fairly easily but they are not very sturdy. They bent out of shape after 2 pompoms.

I’ve never had a pom Pom maker but wanted one. I always just used a cardboard before. This is so easy to use. And there are so many sizes. The variety and speed to use makes it so functional. Wish I had bought one sooner.

Pom pom maker is cheap, flimsy and cracked when I pulled it apart to make my first pom pom. Included scissors was dull and hardly cut one strand of yarn. Instructions are not clear or were they spelled correctly. Don't waste your money.

This is a game changer in making pom poms. The only thing is the directions aren't quite clear how to get the pom poms out when completed and the scissors aren't quite sharp enough to do the job. You get 4 pom pommaker sizes in a kit. So it is a great value.

The scissors is a little hard to use a times but overall these make cute Pom Poms and are super easy to use. The plastic is kind of cheap but doesn’t affect the functionality.

This is definitely worth it if you have been making Pom Poms by hand. The tool does exactly what it is supposed to do. I am part of a Prayer Shawl Ministry at my church and we are currently making blankets and baby caps for a Support Pregnancy Center. When I made Pom Poms by hand, I ended up cutting away so much of the yarn trying to get a nicely shaped Pom Pom. The Pom Pom that comes off this tool is nearly perfect and requires very little trimming. The directions on the package are not the best, but check out any video on You Tube on Pom Pom makers and you will have it down in no time. Someone mentioned that they did not get the scissors with their purchase. I initially thought the same thing, but found the scissors in my shipping box in a separate bag, so it can easily be overlooked. I have no issue with the scissors, but if you have a small and sharp crafting scissors, they work very well too. For the price, this is a very good product. I am buying one as a gift for someone who is donating caps for our ministry.

It's not to sturdy but pretty easy to use and makes nice thick fluffy pom poms. My 6 year old had some difficulty using at first but eventually figured it out. My 9year old got is right awayand so did I. The more yearn you wrap around the curves the thicker and fuller the pom will be. Definitely will be getting a lot of use out of it.

The Pom makers work great, but save your money and don't buy this kit with the cutter. It is very poorly made and has already come apart after a few days use. Just stick with very sharp scissors. The poms turn out great though, much fuller than making them using cardboard or a fork. The instructions are kind of crappy, it starts on #6, not sure why, just be sure to wrap 2 of the plastic pieces that flip out and then close them. I do a knot on each side when tying them off, make sure you pull tightly when you tie, otherwise you'll just end up with little scraps of yarn everywhere. All in all a great tool.
