It can give a green tinted sheen, but it needs to be thickly deposited. Regular fountain pens just give a deep nice intense color.

The ink is just what I wanted, a great teal with a red sheen. The problem was that the shipping packaging was so terrible I'm surprised it survived.The ink comes in a small glass bottle, so it's sold in a box for stacking. Someone apparently thought that this thin box, that isn't even as strong as a cereal box, was plenty of packaging and just popped it into a bubble mailer. When I got it the box was smashed up, but miraculously the glass bottle survived so I kept it. It did leak, but not enough to be worth returning. I wouldn't order any other inks from them though, because who knows if it will survive the trip.

This is a lovely ink in a Ruby colour by LAMY. I bought it to put in a red pen. It is a nice colour, but it's not as intense a red as I'd hoped

I saw someone using this ink in their watercolor drawing and the ink mixed in with the paint for some absolutely gorgeous effects. I haven’t even tried using my pen with this ink for a watercolor painting yet and I love this ink already just for normal sketching. I’m not a fan of brown tones, I’m more of a black ink type of gal, but this ink totally changed my mind!!

I am very happy with how well the ink flows it’s great (Lamy Safari, fine nib). So it functions perfectly and I feel that it is great value for the money. This ink is fun to use, it does not dry when pen is not being used. I have used some other brand of ink and it dries up the fountain pen almost as soon as I stop writing, this Lamy Green ink it's so good I am very happy I spent the money.

More expensive than I've found elsewhere, but the amazonite ink is pretty nice. Unfortunately its colors are not quite evident under a document cam or similar, so keep that in mind if you intend to film or record any paper with this ink, as color balancing will make this ink look basically black, but to the human eye it's subtle but beautiful and easily distinguishable from black.
