The box is amazing it includes everything one might need, however, my only issue is the wire that was given to connect the microprocessor to the laptop did not work, after troubleshooting, it turns out the wire given is a charging wire, not for data transfer, which is required. Bought a new one and everything is working perfectly.

A good starter kit, the ESP32’s features, processing power, memory, and wireless capabilities, make it good choice for projects. If you’re looking for a powerful microcontroller, the ESP32 is worth considering!

Great little starter kit for beginners...The learning curve is steep for the C based Arduino language but, this kit has all of the hardware you need to do a bunch of things. No matter what kit you buy, the learning curve will be the same because it's the language and not the hardware that's hard.

Quality is good. Only problem I had is a driver for Windows 11. You can download it from SiliconLabs official site.

A USBA to USBC cable was supplied with the KIT. The ESP32 Devkit V1 board requires a USBA to USBB(micro). the kit is useless out of the box. The ESP32 Devkit will not plug into the prototyping at the board is to wide to straddle the Center rail and still have access to plug in wires, again making the kit useless. out of the box. I will be keeping the kit and plugging along as I can manage these set backs. but could someone with out adequate stuff on hand be able to manage? waiting for LAFVIN to reach out to me to make me whole with an ESP32 Devkit board that takes a USB C cable and tell me how they have updated there QC to make sure what they sell works out of the box.

I love this kit. Like others have mentioned, the board can't be fully mounted on the included breadboard in a useful way, but cables are provided so that it can be connected to the breadbboard as needed. I had another breadboard lying around, so I attached the two breadboards to a plastic backing and had the unit straddle the boards. For a low cost item from China, I didn't expect much in the way of documentation, but the tutorial is actually fantastic. Lots of examples with descriptions of how each one works. The resistors are pretty cheap, and it's very difficult to read the color code, so I had to rely on my multimeter to know which resistor I'm using, but for 20 bucks I can live with that. Overall, a great product for getting started with ESP32.
