I fear product May not last this long. I would like it to, but I guess I’ll cross that road when I get there.

I bought 13 pressure treated 1"x6"x8ft boards and turned into a tongue and groove exterior ceiling for an area on a porch to mount a TV at my most recent job. The single female slot obviously cut easier than the double, still both cut very well. Going to want to use a strong full size router. My bosch colt router wasn't enough to cut it. However my large full size metabo and these bits ripped through no problem and helped me built a great job. Really impressed for the price. Extremely impressed I should say. The fit nice and tight. Perfect and exactly what I wanted. Over 100 ft on each and still super sharp.

Like most new router bits that one has not used before there is some learning curve, and one can count on mistakes and at least a very sharp cutting surface out of the box. The trick here was to gradually cut the tongue and the groove in increments. A pass to cut the full 1/2 inch slot left lots of tear out. Passing the hard maple through in three smaller bites did fairly well. I don't know if the CMT or Freud bits for $75 or more would require the same process. For $20, and showing up the next day (!) it will be "good enough" for my current project. If I get into further projects like what I'm doing now I would likely spend the money for a better bit and get a jig as well to ensure more accuracy.
