This thing feels like I salvaged it from a Soviet Missile Bunker, but in the best possible way. Much nicer than the cheap version out there, very satisfying fit and finish. Interface is a tiny bit clunky but not terrible, and the memory functions are nice. I wish it came with more variety in the leads but it uses standard connectors so it's easy enough to make or buy more.

Very easy to use, accurate and reliable. If you look at forums this model comes highly recommended; such a high value product at this price point. Being a linear power supply it's a little wasteful, but I haven't noticed an excessive amount of heat, and while I haven't observed it myself, the waveform is said to have low ripple. If I needed another supply I would buy another without hesitation.

Noisy output but at the very least its consistent across all voltages.only 4 memory banks, not enough.Only 5 amps. Not enough.10A model is overpriced. it should not cost double having exact same thing except bigger transformer. It does not even have PC interface like cheaper counterpart products.Honestly not sure why it cost this much. Maybe brand cost more than a product its self.

This device is just perfect if you are an older guy who went through his fair share of wrestling with those old trafo-based, fidgety, no finley-adjusted PSU's, energized outputs, available at the market 10 or 20 years ago.Pros:- stable output even under max loads- no overshooting or any weird spikes- capable of adjustments on non-energized output- digital interface capable of fine adjustments- clear to read and functional with memory optionsCons:- ...If you are in need of a good bench PSU just buy it. I already have two of them, seriously considering buying a third one...

Power supply works as advertised. Been using it for voltage injection without any issues. It's great that it has overvoltage protection and overcurrent protection. There lots of different power supply manufacturers out there to choose from but from my research, this one had great reviews from multiple sources for this price range. Digikey also sells this model which means the power supply should be decent as Digikey usually does not sell inferior products. I've been using it for several months already and have not had any issues so far.

According to Amazon I purchased this 10 years ago. I'm surprised they are still selling the same model. It's worked well for me. The current limit works as well as the voltage limit. The current limit can be adjusted in 1mA steps. The voltage limit can be adjusted in 10mV steps. I haven't noticed any appreciable spikes on activation of the output. The jog knob works well. The connections are solid. The on/off button is solid. The rubbery push buttons feel good enough. Once you get used to how the controls work it's relatively fast to adjust. I'm not seeing much noise either. It's actually quieter than any of my USB batteries that all seem to spit out some noise in the 450kHz range.

This is a great Linear PSU and very inexpensive. It's stable and reasonably accurate using a Fluke meter it was around 0.1 volts off at 30 volts. It has no noise or stability issues as I would expect from a well designed linear PSU. The only caveat is, the interface is gimmicky with lots of buttons and memory controls. I have designed commercial power supplies in the past and all it really needs is a voltage and current adjustment potentiometer, with an accurate meter. All the other controls are unnecessary, and a total mess design wise. Apart from that, I would buy a second one as it's excellent value for money, and great for hobby audio project testing.

I have a bunch of these and they work absolutely great. One of them has been running 24/7 for probably 2 years now. There are no power spikes if you use the output on/off button, the only way to get a small spike is to cut the mains power while the output is enabled but you're not supposed to do that anyway. I very much prefer these over switch-mode supplies because the output is extremely clean. The voltage and current settings and display are very accurate. I use these all the time and I bought my first one 4 years ago; I have both KA3005D and KA3005P (programmable) models and I've used to software to script one of them for automated testing. I did have an issue at one point where I needed customer support and both Korad and the seller (SRA) have been absolutely great with their support which is really important to me and I would say they went above and beyond. I had originally considered buying a "fancy" bench-top dual supply but decided that for the same money I can get 3 of these and that turned out to be a very good decision. My priority is to never get into a situation where I needed another power supply and not have one. I have 6 of them permanently as part of my work bench and a few more to move around where needed. If for some reason I needed another one I would buy this one again, no question.

There are a lot of cheap junk power supplies on Amazon -- this is not one of them. It's a LINEAR power supply not a switching power supply. The cheap ones are little more than repurposed computer power supplies. The construction quality and controls are like what you'd find on units costing at least twice this amount. The only problem I have with it is there's a voltage spike on the output when you power it on (after it's on the output on/off button is clean though). I would have knocked off a star for that but you'll find much worse in all the cheap switching power supplies, so I leave it at 5 stars for the incredible value. Very glad I bought this unit and I recommend it if you can avoid problems with the power-on spike at the output.

Bought it a year ago and it's been working great with no complaints or concerns. Turns on every time and does what I need it to. Controls are quick and convenient and the output toggle is awesome so you're not removing/replacing leads every time you need to adjust the power supply. These seem to be the most noticeable things you lose out on when you buy a cheaper bench supply, but aren't a concern here. When I was researching the purchase I was concerned by how many people seemed to be complaining about fan noise... I used it for a weeks-long stint as a power supply for a ham radio and the fan is probably the most inoffensive noise I can imagine. The only part of calling it "a little loud" that's accurate is the "little" part. For the hobbyist or prosumer, I think this is exactly the right price point to balance quality/features and cost. Don't go any cheaper. If you're feeling rich, grab a used HP/Keysight unit for about twice the price.

I'm just using this for hobby purposes at home but it works great. I've used some high grade power supplies so when I say this is a nice supply I have some experience. Now this is a low cost supply and I was concerned it might be a waste of money. So I connected a Tektronix scope to evaluate the output voltage. This is a linear power supply so the output voltage was very clean. I also checked for spikes when the output was switched on and off with and without a load and no spikes were seen. The current control and voltage control worked very well. The ability to connect this to your test circuit, setup the voltage and current and then turn the supply output on is a feature not even found on some high end supplies. The only issue I had was the power cord connection on this supply seemed a little lose to me.I would recommend this to the electrical/electronic hobbyist.
