Purchased this to anodize aluminum in the .58 square foot size using the low current density method. Also successfully used it for etching aluminum. Works well for constant current. Numbers were easy to read, and no overheating problems with 2 hour runs. I didn’t test it for accuracy against a multi-meter. It has no hum. Nice small profile.

I have two of these. Well I used to have two, I'm down to one now. It's a nice form-factor and they're light. Unfortunately, one of them died about an hour ago and fried a client's custom single board computer in the process. I've been using the supply 6-8 hours a day, sometimes letting it run over night, supplying about 300 mA @ 12v to some client hardware.About an hour ago I noticed that the supply was off even though the switch was on. I swapped over to the other supply and the customer board immediately sent the power supply into current limiting. So something's fried, won't know what until we do failure analysis.Anyway, beware of these cheaply-made supplies. I no longer trust the remaining one and need to find something better now.

This power supply unit works great. But after almost one year of daily use, it broke. I got a very strong burning smell one day and the power supply soon stopped working. After contacting the seller, I got a response within hours. Sent in some pics of the internals for them to confirm the issue. Eventually a replacement unit was sent out under warranty. I am very happy that my set up is working again!

Both voltage and amperage are easily adjusted with both coarse and fine adjustments. The posts are set up to take a variety of leads and has side holes to accommodate a simple wire without end plugs. For the money, it's solid. I use it to inject voltage into various areas of motherboards for troubleshooting and it is helpful to have a power supply that can lock the voltage and draw current as needed or lock the current and draw voltage as needed. The display is quite clear and large enough to see at a distance well beyond arms length. Hope this helps.

This is a review of the NaviTech NP3010H power supply received on 9/23/2019.Low voltage and low current setting control is good. Wire tends to slide off the binding posts even when tight. If you bend the wire in a half circle the diameter of the binding post, it holds better. This is the weakest feature of this power supply.Current metering accuracy is pretty bad at low currents, 10% error at 0.100A current set.Besides the two above negative points, the rest of the power supply performs very well for a switcher. I really like how small and lightweight it is.I'm using it for power input to a 3-phase stepper controller to drive a brushless DC motor, power for a 12V air mattress blower, power for a 12V compressor to pump air for car tires, and power for charging sealed lead-acid batteries on replacement UPS (uninterruptible power supply) batteries. When charging the valve regulated sealed lead-acid batteries, I use 14.2V with a current limit of 1A. The changeover from 1A current limit to 14.2V voltage limit is smooth as the current drops to less than 50mA @ 14.2V when fully charged.
