Bought the 30V. On screen voltage and current readings are surprisingly close to my calibrated meter. Nice to have the voltage/current graphed on screen --scales nice. Controls are simple and fairly polished--not awkward like other brands in this price range. Wish it was a little brighter and better viewing angles.. Decent size --fits on test bench with small footprint. Good value for the money.

I've had this lil guy for a bit over a week and it's been absolutely fantastic. It was hilariously smaller than expected, but that's actually a good thing as I have limited table space at the moment. I've been powering all sorts of circuits and components and it hasn't skipped a beat yet. The PC software was tricky to get working. It wouldn't work at first until I just started opening random ports and it eventually worked, then didn't, then did after selecting another random port. The software is kind of nice if you need a lot of different memory slots (up to 8 slots compared to 4 on the supply itself), and also if you're going to be switching voltages a lot. This is due to the fact that switching from course to fine is a bit annoying on the machine itself, as you have to click the button to change your 1's and 10's and 100's values, and even more slightly annoyingly, the V or I buttons themselves move the cursor to the left, while pressing the knob moves the cursor right, I'd prefer this be reversed. Overall, I would definitely prefer just having a separate course and fine knob as other brands have. The screen is neat, not sure exactly how useful it is, but it looks cool lol (you can switch to the typical power supply screen as well). Another small nitpick is that the wattage output is a small number at the top, would've been nice to have it more front and center honestly. One neat feature is that you can set up to 10 changing voltage and amperages. So, for example, you can have it run at 5v at 1.5a for 5 seconds, and then 10v at 4 amps for 22 seconds if you wanted. You can have up to 10 of these, and can have them run for up to 23 hours, all the way down to 1 second each. Really cool feature I didn't know was there until reading the manual (which I suggest everyone buying this do!). One more nitpick, the machines power switch is at the back, so if you have it set up as I do, that can be a bit annoying, so I just have it set to a smart outlet that I can turn on with my phone. The on/off button at the front is just to turn on the output once you've set your voltage and amperage. I can't really think of any other nitpicks honestly, the color may not be everyone's cup of tea, but despite not normally liking this color, I really like it on this device, it looks sharp and vivid in person. Overall, as an amateur just getting into this hobby, I'm really enjoying this machine, yes it's on the more expensive side (for the "cheaper" type BPS), yes I got it because of the cool screen, but I'm really glad I did and do not regret spending $100 more than I really had to. I'm hoping it keeps running for years to come and will surely update this review if it doesn't!

Very good quality. Display is very nice. I have been in the car business for 40+ years and have just been using a name brand 12 v power supply to bench test parts. This thing is over the top. It will display how many amps the load is using. This will help diagnose a part that has higher than normal internal resistance that may be missed during normal testing.

It does a good job for what it is.It is not truely accurate. Mine is off by 0.4V. If its going to have the "ability" to do tenths of Vs, it needs to be accurate. The graphing is a nice touch. If youre just using it to charge batteries, or run Christmas lights, etc. Its a good unit.If you need a very accurate power supply, this isnt it.Its cheap, and does what you expect a cheap unit to do, so it is worth the price point.

I've bought two for my bench - one 30volt/10amp and one 60volt/5amp. I'd recommend them all day long. They work exactly as advertised, accurate to 0.001 volts. Having it graph volts and current is a tool I love having.

SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD LINK IS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION!! Note: this is not needed unless you want to control it from a PC.NOTE: The .rar file at that link has a long filename, as do the nested directories, which causes Windows problems (failed my first try due to these long filename paths). Windows error messages (or lack thereof) are useless (Windows fault!).SOLUTION: Unzip (7zip) the contents to your root drive, and/or drag out the folder "iPowerCtrlv___" to a higher level directory, or even your C: drive, and install from there. Then it worked a treat. Also had to reboot to recognize the device.Small and extremely functional, doesn't take over my workbench. Love the display: your choice of history graph (good for tracking charging), or large output V&A display. All needed values shown on display at all times: Set values (V & A), Present output (V & A), Limits (OVP & OCP), Watts, Mode (CV vs CC), Time, On/Off - all except total Ah. Output within 0.01V of my voltmeter.Buttons & knob are simple, but everything you need. 4 memory slots (knob to select).Software spartan, but functional - 10 hotkeys for V/A settings, 100 memories, output control, configurable graphs (with export). The ONLY thing missing on this is total Ah, and I wish the fan was a little quieter - it runs even if the output is off (no load). Oh - and would be nice if the power switch was in front for ease of access on a workbench.Kiprim also responded within 24 hours to my request for the download link - and NOW I notice it was already at the top of the Product Description .If you want a 30v/10A supply with more than just V/A/W displayed, this is the one to get - or spend a lot more. Will update if there's any change ...
