This works well. Mounted to golf cart (are my mount) and use to carry rifle with scope. Keeps it dust free and protects from weather.

Used these to mount onto I our airboat and they work perfect. Things don’t get banged around while we are riding and they offer easy access. Very stout and highly durable. Shopped around for these for a bit and these were by far the best

I am not sure why this says it will fit a 51”, maybe a shotgun?. I have what is nearly a youth sized rifle with a small 40mm scope that is mounted very low with a simple nylon sling. My rifle is bolt action and 36” long from butt end. Barely fits and like others have said the liner is a joke and very difficult to mess with. The case is good quality but if your rifle is scoped u will need a larger case. It will work for me and may upgrade later but I can’t send it back bc I need it for this season.

Kolpin products are generally of excellent quality. This case is no exception. The old cases had the lining molded to the case. This lining is loose and slides down the case and wads up when the gun is inserted into it. The lining comes out of the case when the rifle is retrieved from the case. The two pieces of tape Kolpin provides are inadequate. I solved this problem by using carpet glue to hold the lining to the case. That solved the problem. The case was a little long for my Sako rifle, so i cut a 6" long, 1"diameter piece of PVC pipe, capped both ends and used automotive rubber adhesive to glue a rubber pad onto one cap end for muzzle padding and inserted the pipe into the case. this lifted my scope's front edge off of the case by about 1/2". This all sounds Mickey Mouse, but it worked perfectly. Other than having to modify the sock, the case is of excellent quality. Mike.

prompt shipping. Item as expected. The plastic seems a little thinner on these than they used to be but they are pretty decent for the price point. This one came with two half liners which attach to the inside of the case with velcro. This is cool because you can take the liners out and dry them if they get dirty and they should stay put. The last two I bought came with an extremely cheap rifle case inside. They ripped easily but even worse every time you access your rifle the inner case wants to come out with it. This is a bit of an annoyance for hunting when you want your gun quickly. The first one I bought many years ago came with a synthetic white wool liner which was glued to the inside of the case. This was cool because it stayed put when you accessed your gun but it was difficult to clean and dry if you accessed your rifle in the rain and got water inside. In total I have bought 4 of these. There is no doubt they have saved my rifles from damage many times. My first case was destroyed on an atv trip while while crossing a difficult rock slide. It hung up on a rock and split and broke but it did prevent any damage to the rifle inside!

This is the second Gun Boot I have owned. I never should have gotten rid of the first one! On the trail this boot protects your rifle/ scope; Shotgun, etc. from damage or rattling loose. When using the mount, the unit shakes, but the WHOLE unit shakes, not just the boot. the firearm is safe inside. It also fits fly rods. If you are like me and sometimes use the atv to access remote fishing locations, the boot holds fly rods very well. Well worth the investment.

Great case for my gun on my wheeler. It has an inner sleeve to keep the gun from getting too jostled around (in is on the four wheeler after all). Looking forward to next hunting season to put it to use.
