The rack is absolutely a secure way to transport rifles. I have mounted mine a little differently than intended, but I don’t like the rifle straps always falling on my head.Now, some things I notice right away (I just pulled this out of the box) are the foam covers are already coming unglued (photos attached). Furthermore, there is no foam on the upper part of the “U” holder. My rifle is sure to bash and rub there which would damage my stock. I’ll have to do some improvising…

This is the second gun rack from Kami moto that was garbage. There’re cheaply built made of cheesy metal the rods aren’t tight in the main part of the gun rack and it bounces and rattles. Then foam padding is falling off right out of the box. When you tighten the strap around to lock the gun in it bends the holders. Don’t way your money on this one get the Kolpin way better built and made with some real metal

I ordered a Kemimoto overhead gun rack for one of our Polaris Rangers. We use our Rangers daily for ranch work in large rough pastures where large predators roam, so carrying a rifle is common. Most UTV gun racks are awkward at best, exposing our guns to dust and weather. The Kemimoto roof mount looked like a far better option than most on the market.Delivery was lightning quick, just a matter of a few days. Assembly was easy, installed in less than thirty minutes, but with one glitch. When I was installing the fourth and final “U shaped bracket” a crucial metal tab that holds the guns in place fell off. It was obvious it wasn’t welded at the factory, only held together by the glue that secured the ample dense foam padding.A quick call to Kemimoto Customer Service connected me with the very knowledgeable, efficient, and personable representative Kiki. One call, some photos, and a couple of emails later a replacement part was on the way the next day. It was just that easy.We have three Polaris Ranger UTVs and a Sportsman four wheeler. All have various Kemimoto accessories and seat covers. We like Kemimoto accessories because they’re priced right, handy, and durable. With all the Kemimoto accessories we have, not a single one has ever failed. Worn out and needed to be replaced, of course, but never failed until this overhead gun rack. Kemimoto’s customer service proved to be as reliable as their products.Incidentally, I tried the gun rack with one rifle and it did exactly what I was hoping for. I’m ordering two more.

After receiving did not have an opportunity to install for 4 months due to surgery. When unboxing noticed everything looked good and sturdy. Bolts the hold gun clamps would not thread. The nut that were welded were bad and bolts were of cheap grade and stripped or broken. Wrote a review to seller and will contact Amazon if no response. Plan to update customer service quality.:Update, I was offered a full refund and an apology. I am sure this is not a 1 time occurrence. My suggestion is would be to not weld nuts and just send bolts and nuts for the product because it seems to be very strong and sturdy. For the price I would buy again. Matter of fact I mostly likely will buy another for wife’s side by side
