These rubber snubbers don't have as much stretch as I would've expected, and they were much smaller than I wanted. These little guys are only a couple inches long, and you can MAYBE stretch them to 3-4" max. We actually looped them around one another and turned them into two "chains" to use them, but I won't buy any more of these. They feel like they'll dry-rot way too quickly to be on an ATV/offroad vehicle, even if stored in a shed/garage. They don't feel like the original rubbery straps at all; they've got a rather plasticky feel to them. I don't have hopes they'll even last one season. I'd recommend trying other, better-known brands.

These items are very small compared to the ones I normally use; I'd say half the size. I haven't broken any yet and they do stretch pretty good, I'd say more than the standard sized ones do. Their small size makes them a little harder to handle with gloves on and harder to find if you drop them in long grass and brush. We'll see if they last longer, the standard ones seem to give up in about a year or less and are a lot more expensive. I've tried thick rubber bands, and they don't last long either. My next idea is to just slice up old bicycle inner tubes and try that. The holders I have are holding up, I just can't find anything long lasting to keep stuff in them.
