The snubbers that came with my gun holder were loose and didn't hold my gun tight. I ordered these as replacements and they work well.

NOTHING SO FAR. WORKS JUST FINE. they are not very sturdy. rubber broke in less than a week's use would not buy them again. not heavy enough for rugged use. I can make my own out of a bicycle inner tube

Great buying and selling process all around (great to find it, and super quick delivery!); I should've bought these when I originally purchased my gun rack for the ATV. The ones I have (had) never broke on me, but I had one lost. A pack of these at the time of the rack purchase would've been well spent money. They do seem to hold up up well (for me); I never had a problem with dry rot or breakage, and they withstood water & ATV washing over & over. I do wish I had if they made them, a set in blaze orange. I now use a piece bright orange duct tape as an additional tab to quickly identify where their release tab is at in the dark (and now to help find it if one ever pops off by accident again). A temporary alternative I used (until I got these) is one of those rubber wrist bands you see people wear sometimes; again I made a pull tab from orange duct tape on those, but I know they don't have the super lasting quality of these replacements & they don't secure into the joining point of the gun rack as well (but hat's off; they got me by until I got these).

These are just what I needed. They arrived in a very short period of time and was packaged well. I was a bit disappointed that they came 2 in a packbut thats my fault for not paying attention to the ad. I needed a set (4ea) and recieved a set of 2. I guess I need to order another pack. Over all a good product. *****UPDATE: Been over a year now and I still use them. No band breakage yet and I did order another set cos my rack holds two rifles. (or a shovel and a rake.)
