This book is a total waste of money. There is no real patters as such..eg..Shawl ones directions are cast on 68 stitches and knit every row till you have the desired length.. The rest are pretty much the same.In fact the whole pattern instructions for all the shawls would fit on 1 sheet of paper.

The shawls are very easy to make, most beginners can knit these shawls, and the meaning behind them is very touching.

Yes, I was very pleased with this product. I had been searching for prayer shawl patterns, as I am involved in a prayer shawl group at my church, but could only find crochet patterns, and I find I can no longer do crochet as my hands are severely deformed by 40 years of rheumatoid arthritis. I can, however, knit with big needles and tend to focus on knitting baby blankets and ponchos.
