I bought this for my 03 Acura rsx auto. I was nervous as I saw a review where codes came up. I got my installed at a garage and after a week of driving (highway and street) no codes! I feel the ride is a bit faster and no issues with loss of gas mileage. My one regret is not buying this sooner!

Do not use this unit if you have a Partial Zero or Zero Emissions Vehicle as in CA, and NY. It will fail inspection. You may on a standard or Low Emissions Vehicle use this unit with no fear of anything but cleaner emissions and better fuel consumption and lower mileage. I recommend if you have a 2002-2005 CR-V that you have a spare Air Intake Solenoid available (best is new from the dealer) as the one that you take the hose off of is dry rotted 9 of 10 times. You may have to take .25 inches off of the end of the replacement so that it clears the valve cover gasket. I used a dremel, but a hack saw or grinder would be just as effective. To check if it's dry rotted before you do a thing simply squeeze very gently, if it gives it is already split and you may be in danger of getting plastic circulated.

Absolutely amazing!! Replaced all the broken hard to find parts on my stock air box system. Also allowed me to remove an incredibly obstructive stock intake. I have so much room in my engine bay now and the AIT has never been cooler! So glad I didn't go with some knock-off!! K&N again exceeds expectations!!!

Ordered on Amazon and received in stellar time. I installed it on my Honda CRV 2005 model 2.0l even though I think it says its compatible with only 2002 to 2004 models and only 2.4l. Installation was pretty straight forward with the provided installation paper. the air temperature sensor is terribly hard to come out of the stock tube, I had pry to open with a screwdriver and spray WD-40 to lubricate the sensor so I could pull it out. It adds a slightly more throaty sound to my CRV which can only be heard at higher rpm's averaging about 4000 plus. Surprisingly fuel economy has improved for me, instead of 300km on a tank I get sometimes 325km to even 350km depending on my driving pattern and where I drive (highway vs city). Performance has increased but not by a whole lot but only slightly, but with a CRV any little performance improvement is welcomed especially with a 2.0l i4. Generally I am satisfied with this purchase, bought it for $152.73 it also adds to the look of the engine bay. I would recommend this product.
