This K&N cold air intake system is engineered for your vehicle. A mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube helps increase the volume of airflow to your engine and provides a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque with no tune required. This intake system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter™ featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. Was shipped to me missing all hardware, brackets, and hose clamps. Nothing at all except the main components.

i ordered this air intake kit and it works well. it sounds good (as others have said) and adds a few ponies to performance. not a lot, but enough that i had to learn to be a little lighter on the pedal when driving, as i tended at first to scratch the tires a little bit for about a week. this is on my 4.0L mustang (2005, if that matters), with manual transmission.installing the kit was easy and took about 2 hours. i had to attempt it twice tho, because i did not have all the tools required when i started the first time. the instructions say you need a 15mm socket and an extension, but what i really needed was a 15mm deep socket, but no extension. other than that, it was pretty accurate.in all i'm really digging my new intake! just passed inspection as well, so i have that going for me

Checked for fit on k&n website, and purchased this intake kit on Amazon.Got it installed on a 2008 Mustang V6.It looks so nice when you lift up the hood and there is a sparkling shiney intake!Also the end cap of the filter came polished too which looks good.It makes it sound a bit better too.Havn't ever dyno'd with an intake so can't say about any performance gains.It is just fun to have on the car for the looks and enhanced sound.
