Your cart is empty.Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cold Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air. This model includes a no maintenance PowerCore filter. By using Donaldson's PowerCore Filtration technology submicron contaminants load on the surface rather than collecting in the depth of the filter. This is why we warranty our replacement air filters for 4 years or 150000 miles in urban conditions whichever comes first.

Very well made. Easy to install.But I have two of them, one for a 2015 2500HD LTZ LML and a 2016 2500HD LTZ LML. Both trucks had the Volant installed at the same time. BOTH trucks threw engine codes immediately after install. The 2016 is in the Chevy dealer shop now in D-rate. The dealer says GM has a bulletin for these two year model trucks with aftermarket cold air intakes installed. Some intakes will throw codes - (not all but some) GM will not allow the dealer to do any further checks on the engine because the codes indicate air mass issues apparently affecting the EGR. Both trucks had no codes prior to install. Both truck had K&N cold systems on them prior to the Volant the K&N oiled filters would not stay clamped on, vibrate off and would get really dirty from the construction lots where we work - so I chose the closed box type like the Volant. The check engine can be erased on the 2015 but it will come back almost asap. The 2016 went into D-Rate and could not be erased. I am stuck. The dealer wants the stock air box back on before they will proceed to do any other checks. I do not have the stock parts now to put them back on. My Bad.
