I could tell the difference in the power increase the car got from this intake, also anything past 2700 or so rpm the supercharger sounds amazing much better then stock.

Installation was simple. Comes with instructions. Okay this intake is show room quality and you can really feel the power. I drive a 2006 Chevy Cobalt supercharged 2.0L. When hitting 4000rpm you can really hear the supercharger whine up!. The K&N pipe is a little smaller the Injen's intake pipe and also smaller then ZZP's intake pipe. But ZZP's intake is not show room quality, yes zzp is a 3" inch pipe all around and I know people like that, but the pipe looks like a car's exhaust pipe with no logo to show what brand it is and the inside of the pipes come in very dirty. I don't know why ZZP has dirty intakes so go with Injen or K&N these are Brands that look good for car shows plus they are quality built.

this product is a must for upgrading. takes a little bit to install because of the location of the air box and it is a tight squeeze but it fits just right and once you listen to your car accelerate afterwards you will find out that it was well worth the time and money

First off K&N does not list compatability with the 2007 Cobalt SS/SC, however all three years of the car's production (05-07) use an identical intake system and it will fit the 07 model. The car gets a high RPM whine with a noticable increase in low RPM boost. Likely due to the removal of the restrictive bends in the stock intake.A common problem with aftermarket intakes is a Check Engine light (for too much air entering the system as would be the case with a leak in teh stock system) which i have NOT experenced. K&N has changed the initial design of this intake and chances are they corrected the airflow readings of the mass air sensor keeping them within spec. The lack of 5 stars comes form a VERY tight install. It can be a rather large pain however with a little work it will fit and is one of the best constructed/clean looking intakes I've seen for the car.

I purchased this for my son who owns a 2007 Chevy Cobult. He had it installed along with another modification and his horsepower went up quite a bit and his car sounds pretty loud if you are into that kind of stuff. Being a parent I am not but from what my son says this item was well worth the money and he is very happy with this item for his car.
