We bought these kids micro spikes after our daughter slipped and fell on an icy parking lot. They are very easy for a child to slip over the ball of their foot to give any shoe extra traction in icy/slippery conditions. They are many rubber so they are easy to wash clean after use. It also comes with a (large) bag to store them in. For reference, they have been used on a youth size 4 shoe.

They don't always plow the streets in my neighborhood when it snows. That means the snow gets driven on and packed down. It melts a bit and then refreezes overnight, making the streets icy and treacherous for walking. Shout out to my walking friend Mike who mentioned these to me!They say they are for kids, but I wear a size 8 in women's sizes, and they slip onto my shoes with no problem. They don't require any adjustment or tightening. I walked around in some of the snow and ice left on my patio, and they seemed to help a lot with traction. The weather has warmed up significantly, and the snow on the streets has melted, so I won't be able to try these out on one of my daily walks this week. But I'm expecting that they will really help keep me from slipping on the ice next time it snows.

I tried these crampons for a recent ski trip, and they made a huge difference for getting around the skiing area. They are easy to attach to your shoes, and they provide a good grip on the snow and ice when walking. These gave me so much more stability and confidence while traversing wet and icy areas.

Haven't used them yet, good concept, but looks like it may be a bit flimsy. Won't know for sure, til we actually are able to try them out.

These are great for walking around, especially if you want to pull them off at your indoor destinations. Also, these came with a little drawstring bag, which was an unexpected bonus, I put them in the bag and left them on the floor at the library and then later, left them in my reusable bag at the market.Both times I was lucky to have them one on these last minute trips outside, I hadn't been anywhere in a couple of days because of all the snow and ice and I somehow managed to strain my abductor muscle walking through snow that was ten inches deep. so these made my footing sound even with a sort of bum leg to deal with.Something else to know, these don't seem like they will last more than two maybe three seasons.
