We had an ice storm and my house was surrounded by ice. I have to go outside and feed my animals daily. I can not afford to slip and fall and break any bones. These slipped easily over my boots and prevented me from falling. I even told my neighbor about them, and he ordered a pair. I would recommend them.

If you like to take walks regardless of the conditions out there, then this is for you. You gain 100% traction with these sleeves, and it is so easy put them on or take them off in matter of seconds so you wont scratch your floors. It comes with spare spikes which makes it a great deal for your many. Make sure to pick the correct size although they stretch a good deal. They are well made and I can see them lasting me two winters.

The rubber frame meets the size of my boots. Size 10 with a large size. The material is rubber. The forward cleat pad is positioned on the ball of the foot. The rear cleat pad positions itself under my foot arch. That is a useless location. The cleats are metal with a few extra replacement cleats provided. The cleats works good in packed snow and what little,I’ve used them on ice. For the price, they are acceptable. It would be much better if the rear cleat was placed on the heel.

I am an avid runner. These were comfortable and worked very well on my first run in icy snowy conditions. Unfortunately, the quality seems to lacking. Half through my first and last attempt, one of the spikes broke off. I know they came with extras but IMO this shouldn’t happen after one run.Tread lightly if purchasing.

It is good as it saves you from slippery, but feels weird under the shoes as you walk on regular rd

I purchased these after falling on ice in my driveway in Jan. 2022. Totally ripped my entire rotator cuff from the bone and had to have surgery, from which it took about 8 months to recover after months of physical therapy. I purchased these boot spikes in Oct. 2022. I used them starting Jan. 2023 through the end of winter 2024 (2 years) when I shoveled the driveway and sidewalk. I just got them out again this Jan. 2025 (live in Michigan) and have used them a few times this winter to shovel my driveway/sidewalk and to walk out to the mailbox. These things are awesome! I am still careful when I walk and shovel but I haven't slipped yet, even with ice underneath the snow. That's how I fell, I didn't know there was ice under the light-powdered snow. I am a 71-yr-old woman now, and I feel much safer with these on my boots. So, they really last a long time if using just for shoveling short driveways, sidewalks, etc. I don't have any experience wearing them for hiking or such. Reviews I had read before purchasing these said to be careful when walking on "no snow or ice areas," so I'm very careful with that. I highly recommend these boot spikes. And, they fit my boots very well. I just leave them on a pair of boots I only use for the purposes I mentioned.

I’ve been slipping in frozen sidewalks when I walk my dog. He has to go out 2 times a day or he gets cabin fever. These cleats immediately took the stress out of walking on icy sidewalks and I haven’t slipped at all since using them! They go on easily and fit well over my boots by stretching to straps. They are durable and well worth the price!

They worked extremely well, highly recommend buying these grips to put over your shoes when the ground is covered in ice.

I bought these a while ago, but haven't had enough cold weather to test them out until now. I used it two days to walk my dog, and the durability is just not there. They send replacement cleats, but it won't last me a month at this rate. I walk my dog half a mile twice a day (plays in our yard the other times), and I've already had to replace three cleats. The metal part of the cleats work amazingly well in ice, and definitely saved me a few times from my dog pulling (he's only 17lbs, but when he pulls, he's pretty strong, especially if he's in the snow and I'm on ice). The bad part is the narrow plastic part holding the cleat to the rubber sole. It seems to snap pretty easily, or the whole cleat gets pulled through the rubber sole. It's very easy to put on and take off my shoe, and the rubber sufficiently friction holds against my shoe. I just wish the cleats were as durable. I ended up purchasing hiking crampons, and stashing these in my car only for emergencies. They're definitely not for light daily use (walk around block) or heavy hikes (spikes are too small to work in deeper snowy areas).I would not purchase or recommend to anyone. It's too late to return mine, but hope this review helps someone else.
