Kester 44 rosin flux has virtually dominated the field of activated rosin core solders for well over four decades. An outstanding performance feature of this flux is the "instant-action" wetting behavior. The high mobility and fast-spreading action of this flux results in more reliable production line soldering.

Great solder, of course. This is the go-to stuff for soldering electronics.

I started getting back into soldering, hadn't done it since high school and I really missed it. I did some research online and found this. I am very happy with this solder, I got a holder for it too and it's the center of my workbench.Don't forget to turn your soldering iron up! I have a Pinecil, I find that +/- 640 degrees Fahrenheit works like a charm. The solder melts quickly and forms shiny, neat pads where I need them. A little bit of rosin flux goes a long way too!The price is worth it for this mighty spool.

First time I used Kester 63/37 solder. The increased flux content (3.3%) and activity (M) make perfect solder joints every time.

I cannot state that enough - it really is the best. Throw the lead-free in the trash and get this. You will not be disappointed. It melts like butter, amazing flow and leaves a nice perfect shine. It’s also easy to clean up with alcohol after soldering. You get so much for the $$ in both quality and quantity. It is a LOT of solder!

Wow, a one-pound roll of this stuff is worth every dime it cost! Not just because it solders so well, but also because it's made in a western country where it's less apt to have toxic chems in some mystery flux brew. It has an IEC rating of ROM1, which is a moderately active rosin flux with halides. A whole pound is a lot for a hobbyist, but it's stored in a wide mouth mason jar with a bag of desiccant, so it'll do non-iso work for decades.

Le doy esta calificación porque veo que la presentación no es igual al de la imagen de portada de la tienda, no sé cuál es la calidad, pero pienso que debe ser buena

You won't be disappointed with this solder wire! It consistently delivers impeccable results with its shiny solder joints and minimal residue, making it the top choice for any soldering project.Even though it's slightly more expensive than other options, the quality and longevity it offers make it a worthwhile investment. Don't miss out on this exceptional product.

I had always used the cheapest solder I could find until I had some instruction from an electronics teacher with some good quality Kester solder. The difference is huge. I had some cheap solder with Chinese writing on it and tried it side by side with the Kester and the ease of use is very noticeable. This stuff melts more easily, flows where it should, and doesn't make those nasty blobs with tails. I had been thinking I was doing something wrong getting ugly solder joints. Turns out crap solder makes crap joints. Kester solder (with the right ratio) makes excellent solder joints.
