This product is a lifesaver for small soldering. It melts fast and sets shinny. I have uses Kester's with the silver in it and this product flows much better.

It does solder and I feel like that's half the battle lately with all the counterfeits. Takes a bit more heat to get a nice joint then some other solders and I am being very critical but that's all the only thing and it's very minor and could of even been my solder iron. Iarge tube

Used this Kester 44 Solder Wire to repair 5 blown Capacitors in my 2008 Panasonic DVD/VCR Player/Recorder. There’s a lot of solder wire in the tube, more than I’ll ever need for repairs on my video equipment. Did the job nicely. Very pleased with the results and my VCR/DVD recorder is back up and running again!

This solder is excellent, melting quickly and adhering instantly, forming strong conductive bonds. One holds the tube (with the solder extended to the necessary length) with one hand while holding the soldering iron in the other hand, enabling precise application. No separate flux is needed. Very highly recommended.

Easy to use in it's tube package. .031 is just right for very fine work on cirsuits.

Amazing stuff. This puts the best solder I've gotten to shame. Low melting point, flows perfectly and leaves a super polished shine afterwards. Less is more with this stuff. .031 for through hole PCB BOSS guitar pedals. Perfect size. Any smaller size I imagine would be hard to work with.
