I really like to use this stuff instead of my much older flux laden solder. It's the right thickness for most tasks and doesn't create a huge toxic cloud of flux smoke when you pour it on. Unless I'm doing micro soldering of high conductive connections, this is the right stuff. Works great for wire hook-up down to 28 ga wire so far.

I purchased both solder that has resin and no resin for the different uses that I use at home or workshop.

Glad to finally ditch the neurotoxin known as lead for some lead free stuff. I originally didn't like lead free solder because it wouldn't flow nicely but it turns out I just had a bad lead free solder and I haven't had any issues with this brand.

Most lead free solders are just a PITA to deal with. Temps required are substantially more and they don't flow well. NOT this brand! It's not perfect but the solder flows relatively well, wets well and melts evenly and at a reasonable temp.I was worried it was going to be some cheap low quality Chinese solder but it's not and I am pretty happy with it.

I do a LOT of automotive electrical diagnostic & repair work. I have been a certified MASTER auto through med tuck tech since 1990 while still in technical college and despite some pretty serious physical issues that have left me quite disabled (disabled veteran with substantial spinal damage, Coccyx damage, nerve damage and frequently INDESCRIBABLY chronic pain) though I still stay as current within this industry as possible, though Covid ended my records of attending at least 4 classes/year since I enrolled in Technical College fresh out of HS in Aug 1989! I had a call to see if I would be interested in "attempting" to repair a badly damaged wiring harness on a very "newer" vehicle as a replacement harness would be a minimum of 6-8 months and there aren't any in the scrap yards just yet. A harness that contained almost 80 wires was partially severed in a collision. Being most of this appeared as straightforward as electrical issues are concerned, I decided to at least attempt a repair. I did a lot of diagnostic/repair work for dozens of other shops when I owned my own and still do so, except no I do so at their shop for a minimum of $75/hour cash on electrical. I ordered this solder as I liked the specs & reviews plus I NEEDED the smallest diameter Rosin core lead free solder available for this job. I repaired just shy of 50 individual wires, used top quality MARINE grade shrink tubing as the shrink tubing has a water/moisture proof adhesive that has a very low melting point and not only physically glues the rather thick shrink tubing to the repair but completely seals said repair from all moisture and/or water intrusion which will quickly corrode the entire length of each wire and lead to catastrophic issues within 12-24 months afterwards. This solder also seemed to melt at a lower temperature than the "generic" stuff I bought by mistake prior to this which is a HUGE benefit when working on dozens of mostly very small diameter wires that are in a loom and all touching each other. I didn't damage a single other wire/wire insulation from attempting to get the wire hot enough to melt some of the low grade solder on the market today. IF you're an automotive/truck/equipment/marine tech./mechanic or simply have enough skill & knowledge to attempt this type of repair yourself, I believe you'll agree this solder is well worth the price! It's actually probably worth double...and coming from a usually broke disabled vet, that's saying A LOT! Honestly, I HIGHLY recommend this Rosin Core Lead Free Solder Wire for Electrical, Electronic, Connector, PCB Soldering; Sn97 Cu0.7 Ag0.3; By Mandala C

Compré la de grosor de 0.8 y el tamaño es perfecto para soldar componentes electrónicos y cables pequeños! Se ve de muy buena calidad! Esperemos que la soldadura quede bien.
