I connected it to 12 V and it moved to full extension. Then it died there. It does not move back when I reverse the polarity of the power supply. It was single use so to say. Disappointed.

Used these to add another reclining angle to a handicapped "lift chair". Two of these work in parallel as if they are synchronized. They are very consistent even if the loads aren't the same. So far, so great! They look pretty cool, as they are on the outside of the chair.

I really like the design of this actuator. Solid metal body, with compression gaskets between the connections to make very water resistant. Smooth operation, but not as quiet as others I’ve had in the past. I give the design an A- rating. But this does NOT come with the typical mounting brackets. So I will either have to buy or make some. That’s a real pain, but I still might keep because of the good design.

I installed this onto the top chute adjuster of my two stage snowblower that hangs off the front of my Wheel Horse tractor. Now I just push a button in the cab to change the direction of the snow. On its second winter now and still working. Totally cool to sit in the cab and play in the snow.
