These are very nicely made and very thin walled for Good Flow!! I’ve seen lots of brass fittings for hoses that are way to thick and l’m always concerned about it causing a restriction in flow.

I purchase these JoyTube 5/8" Brass Hose Barb Fittings to repair my garden hoses! I keep several on hand and they work great! I have one garden hose that has a raised seam inside the hose and I have to trim that down to get this fitting in, but the barbs have saved me from purchasing many garden hoses. I used to use the screw down clamps, but they tended to leak and had to be re-tightened from time-to-time. Now I use 1/2" pex cinch clamp rings (one on each side of the barb fitting) and they work even better! Very pleased with these brass barb fittings and the money they have saved me from having to buy new garden hoses around the home! Nothing wrong with these fittings that I can see!
