They're brass with 5/8" hose barbs on both ends. The hose clamps are stainless. They work. End of story!

Arrived quickly & packaged appropriately for shipment. Items measured as advertised and worked as designed. I didn't really need that many but the extras will be kept on hand virtually ensuring that I will never need them. Seriously though, I would buy these again if the need arose.

Good price for the quantity. Easy to install with included clamps. Built out of brass, and work well on heater hose sizes. 5/8 size also worked with 3/4 with the clamps. These are around 2" long.

Very happy with the stents. I cut out the defect in garden house and use a heat gun to make the two ends more maleable. Two hose clamps on each side prevents leakage. I put a two inch shrink tubing over the whole mess after ensuring no leakage form the repair. Don't forget that the clamps and shrink tubinf go on prior to fitting the the brass stent.

I needed brass unions, with barbs, that had an ID close to 1/8". First I bought 1/8" fittings... ID=.094". Second I bought 5/32 fittings thinking those must be bigger.. ID=.080" the holes are so off from center. I JUST measured the OD of the barbs on BOTH....... Guess what? SAME SIZE. See picIt will fit into an 1/8" tube and with not much to grab onto, a 5/32 hose. So, if you don't care about the smaller inside diameter / lower fluid volume, these are the fittings for you!
