INSTALLATION
1. Q: How to install the solar controller ?
A: Connect the battery, solar panel, and the load (in proper sequence)
2. Q: How are the wires connected to the controller?
A: Unscrew the screw, fit wire in small hole and screw in to tighten it up
CONNECTION STEPS
Make sure the battery has sufficient voltage for the controller to recognize the battery before the first installation.
1.Connect the battery to the solar controller, the solar charge controller automatically recognizes the voltage.
2.Connect the solar panels to the charge regulator.
3.Connect the Load to the solar charge controller( optional ).

This product works well but you need to fix it beofre installation by professional. Its not that much easy to use, quality is average.

I have a few PWM's I have tried and this one's, my favorite. It works well and I love how it functions for 12v 14v 36v and 48v. I also like how it shows you kWh in and out. It's a bit bigger than some of the others but just by a tiny amount. I'm considering by another one for a friends solar e-bike. I use them to charge a bike on the go.

Documentation reads like something out of Google Translate; hard to understand. The controller itself seems pretty good so far...

So, I have had bad experiences with solar charge controllers that said they work with 36V systems, so I wasn't expecting much. I will say I was quite surprised in the function and apparent quality of this unit. It did take a little navigating of the menu to get it properly set for a 36V flooded lead acid system, but it did work. So far it seems to being doing what it should so now only time will tell. This controller is rated for 10A, but I am using it with a maximum output of 5A so hopefully that is enough margin.

My favorite part of this JJN 30 amp charge controller is the bluetooth feature. I can check the status any time I want and it's good for about 15 feet away from the unit. The only drawback it has is the programming is 12 volt. This makes it hard to set for a 48 volt operation. I had to use it in lead acid battery mode to control the load disconnect and reconnect as I use it to control a 5 PIN relay to turn my battery charger on and off. (LVD ON / LVR OFF)

It's been hooked up for a little over a month. I have 2-24v 200watt panels in series that have a 82volt Voc, and run at 5-6 amps in full sun. This little 10 amp unit never gets hot, and does what it should. It was a perfect low cost solution for the 2 oddball panels in my array.

Being fairly new to Solar charging systems there is a lot I still have to learn. while this unit is very informative you have to take the time to find out exactly what battery you are trying to charge. Mine is a lifepor4 lithium 100 amp 4 cell . But you can have any lead acid,gell,seal,and lithium. Once you input that information the unit does the rest! It sets All the nessasery parameters for each batter type. And there's is a lot from how much sun ray energy you can have (input) watts,amps,volts, charging start and shut off points , temperature in Celsius is the only drawback. i just use the 9 to 5 plus ad 32 rule . It also has how much energy you use up and how much power is in battery. I really like that it has a clearly label lifepor4 setting destination this is very important not all solar chargers do. I have mine set up and it is working better then expected very happy with purchase.RG.

This unit stopped working after only 4 months. It no longer charges when batteries voltage goes lower. Warranty says one year and yet when I attempt to talk to customer service, I am told that I need to contact the manufacturer whose number that they gave me is disconnected. On the listing it states: 【WARRANTY】 12-month warranty and lifetime technique support. If there is any problem, please contact us through Amazon, we will arrange a refund or a replacement. !!!!????
