I had a lightning strike which took out my Epever charge controller…I replaced it with another Epever charge controller…I would recommend this product.

Product is used to manage solar panels on a 44 foot catamaran. What power I use at night is quickly returned next day. Independence!

this is a very quality product with some wonderful monitoring capabilities. very efficient. but a few issues with usability remain. it requires you to download its program to initialize its battery charcteristics for lifepo4 batteries and its manual isnt too clear but if you know what you are doing its a good product.

The MT50 control module has a line through the middle of the display. The cable from the MT50 to the controller could be 12" to 18" longer.Insert bosses to hold down solar input cables and battery output cables could be more robust. Snapped 1 off.

For anyone setting up a solar system this is an affordable, easy to set up, versatile controller that can handle up to 48V input.

NOTE: PC required to change factory defaults. SELECT and ENTER buttons do nothing.Software download, required to communicate / set operating parameters with the 6415AN, would not install. Repeatedly got prompt to "REPAIR" or "REMOVE". Never RUN. Factory defaults included disabling MANUAL ability to set op parameters. Reached out to iSunergy via email (there is no phone number) with explanation of problem. After 3 days they asked for my order number and offered NOTHING to fix the problem. On day 4 they asked questions which made clear they did not read my original message. They demonstrated no urgency in addressing the problem. As return deadline is fast approaching, and "customer service" offered no solution or way forward to sync this controller to my batteries, the unit is packed and going back. MidNite DIY on way. Actually talked to their tech on the phone and got info enough to make decision to buy. Imagine talking to a human being in the USA - real time!!!!

This controller has more features than advertised and just get a little warm when working at 90% of the rated capacity. I don't need to move to check the parameters because I have the remote monitor close to me. This was a great purchase.

Once programmed, it works very well with my 6 435 watt panels to charge my 5KW 48v LifPO4 batteries. I also bought the Bluetooth module and that seems to work ok with my android phone, although the software is clunky it is usable. The windows software and connection is hit and miss for getting a connection via the USB to lan adapter included.
