Comes in 4 pieces, threads are a bit gummy from paint.The two flat pieces can be installed in two ways technically, one with the folds pointing up,but that stops you from putting anything long and flat on it unless it has feet that are taller than the fold.the other way is with the folds facing down, which seem to be better, though they are not perfectly flat so there is gap. It does come with hardware, and the two pieces slide. Not really sure what the point of it is. But i suppose if you had something longer you could put it in there with the rear expanded. or if you want the front to protrude. Overall okay quality would have liked to see washers for the screws but thats a different story.
