A proven power tool. If you have a decent air compressor this tool can save you lots of time and hard work. I’ve had several over the years and decided to get a new one. It will work well for smoothing flat areas and rounded places as well.

This has saved me much time and effort. We polish aluminum plates and these are great. Affordable and very effective at removing surface defects. So good I bought a 2nd one for my helpers. I will buy again.

The only issue I had with this sander is if you work it to hard and it gets to hot, it will shut down until it cools off. The best way to use the tool is to let the tool do the work and don't force it.

This is a high quality air file. I've had this for a long time (many many hours on this air tool) and it stills works as good as it did the day I got it. Just make sure you wear ear plugs because the noise is very loud (it is with all air files no matter the brand). This came in, I installed the air fitting to fit my air line set up and within 30 seconds, the tool was ready to use. It feels great in your hands when in use and it has the power to handle a strong/heavy grit sand paper on a material with high friction. That means that this tool has some serious power/tongue. Just make sure to oil the tool in the air nozzle per the instructions before every use. This protects and lubes to keep it working like new for much longer

Only reason I gave it a 3 star rating for ease of use is because these inline sanders are notoriously not easy to use unless you have prior experience. Theres a learning curve to these things.Overall rating 4 stars instead of 5.........the oil it spits out from having the oil reservoir. BUT........without that additional oiling......like so many knockoffs are made........you get premature wear. So its a love/hate kind of thing. You just need to make sure to use wax and grease remover between coats of body filler to clean it up.Feels like a good machine. Works well right out of the box. Time will tell.

I've used one of these I bought several years ago to finish sand out a 98 S10 SS and a 2001 Silverado and it works just fine. I've used it on auto body, refinishing furniture and general DIY mayhem and it's functioned without a problem. I don't treat it very nicely. It barely gets oiled. It usually doesn't get the air pressure (PSI) it wants to run at and I am sure the air is damp and it doesn't seem to care. Only times I have had a non function issue with this is when it seems to stop while, what I call, "topped out" on its stroke. I slide the pad back and forth a couple times with no load, hit the trigger and back in business.
