This orbital sander is amazingly good for the price. I have a 3M sander that I normally use, but I lent it out and wanted to sand on my old VW. I bought this thinking it would probably die as I paid $30 for it. This worked much better than I thought it would. You can really apply pressure and it keeps going. I got my 3M back but I thought it would be fun to finish this project with the much cheaper sander. I have been using it for at least a year now and it still works perfect. Some advice for people that don't have much experience with these:Use an oiler in your air line. If you don't have an oiler, every couple of compressor cycles pour some oil down the air intake. A lot of oil. Run it for a second and start sanding. When you first get it out of the box and install an air fitting, depress the trigger and fill it with oil. If it won't spin when you first try it, spin the disc by hand with the trigger depressed. It will fire right up if it has been oiled well. Repeat the oiling a couple times to make sure that it is lubricated.I can't recommend an oiler enough, especially if you run other air tools with that air line.

Several features—- Lightweight, easy to hold, works with either hand and has variable speed control. Inexpensive and runs very well with a small air compressor.

Great product seemed to be well made so I don’t entirely know why you would need a tool 2-3 times as expensive. In the end I returned it only because I found a better deal on an open box DA sander at harbor freight, otherwise I would have definitely kept this one.

I am repairing and repainting an old N3 tractor and this air sander and the electric one that is about the same kind of "work horse" are doing a fine job of removing rust and old paint. I have used almost all of the 40 and 60 grits and am quickly running out of 80 and 100 grits. I'm sure glad I bought them. They also sand the fiberglass and Bondo well using finer grits.

For the initial assessment, this seems to be an outstanding tool for the price and quality. I purchased this tool to keep from ruining my electric Random Orbit sander. Before the first use I was sure to add a few drops of Pneumatic Tool Oil and then continue to use a couple drops after about 20-30 minutes of use for god measure. In the picture, I am wet sanding epoxy for a serving tray. The unit seems to power through even when the surface begins to dry and the paper bogs down. Until I use this tool a while longer, I would say that you can’t go wrong with the purchase. Only time will tell and I will come back to update this review if there are any changes.
