This product did not work well at all. Vacuum collection did not work. It scuffed the wall while trying to sand

Great sander worked great on a small drywall project. I hooked it up to a shop vac with a dust bag and there was very little dust I would recommend this for a homeowner.

The machine is not vacuuming the dust, the reason I bought this machine because it stated is reduced dust by 90%. Totally useless buyer be ware

Two things to understand about this tool.1. You really need to hook this up to a shop vac with the drywall fine dust bag or you WILL make a mess.2. The sanding discs that come with it are 185 mm - 7 5/8 inch. however, the actual Velcro pad is 180 mm - so a standard 7 inch 8 hole disk does in fact fit. there is no need to cut down a 9 inch...Personally, I purchased these drywall mesh disks -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BHS381KP?As for how well it actually woks? I was very impressed. I skim coated my walls and was able o sand them to a near "glass smooth" finish with the supplied 240. It will take you some time but you can get a level 5 finish. Possibly too smooth so I went back over the wall again with 150 and used a good primer.The wife is happy. So am I...

Sanding dics to fit are hard to find......Ignore the Amazon bought together.... see titleWorks OK. I bought the 9 inch dics. Cut the down to fit the sander. If you on a budget, or a smaller remodeling jobs, drywall or counter top for example. It is a good tooling fit.

This sander was perfect for our needs for about two hours of light use. At that point the variable speed function stopped working. We had to return the item.
