This thermometer has a very sloppy indicator that is affected by gravity, meaning if the hand is left of center it will read low by up to five degrees, if right of center it will read high up to five degrees. In other words, ten degrees of inaccuracy! Cheaply made.

We wanted an outdoor thermometer in our enclosed porch and this was really basic, needed calibrated, but works well.To calibrate, I brought it inside and placed it next to 2 small digital thermometers we had for several hours and then adjusted it to the average of the digitals - maybe 5 degrees down.

thermometer has a clen appearance. The face is easy to read and the back is enclosed to assure longevity. I initially found it to be 8 degrees off and used a small screw driver to turn the indicator to match the accurate temp. It has been accurate since. Good product.

I like not needing to go outside to see the temperature. And since I live in Arizona it’s good the readout goes past 120!Update: after comparing to my digital thermometers, it’s not very accurate. I will be returning it.

Looks great, big numbers to read from a distance, and no batteries required. I had to calibrate because it was off by a couple of degrees, so hopefully it stays accurate over time.
