Bought one 3 years ago and wanted another. Bought twice and both are unusable. Returned it and they sent another one that is defective. They are now poorly made with suction cups that are distorted and will NOT stick to glass, even with clear adhesive. Moisten the cup . . . . falls off; use a dab of silicone grease . . . . falls off and finally; use a dab of silicone adhesive . . . falls off. Obviously, Chinese suction cups suck! Or, perhaps better to say they’re defective and can’t suck!BUYER BEWARE.

Have this attached to my sliding glass door. It is easy and clear to read. I initially had trouble getting the suction cup to stick but it was because it was too cold outside. Once the temps normalized, I tried again, and it attached without issue.

I found it difficult to mount on a fertical glass surface (at 50*F) until I lefted one edge of the suction cup while pressing and it has stayed on the window just fine. It might also work to warm the suction cup before attempting to mount.

It adhered well to the window during freezing temperatures. Appears to be accurate and is easy to read. Good for the price.

The thermometer adheres to the outside window very well- no matter the temperature nor the weather conditions. We use it every day to help us decide what we are wearing for the day. Very accurate and very easy to read.

I really wanted to love this thermometer because it's just perfect for outside my kitchen window. Nice and small with great readability. It feels super flimsy but the suction cup is very stiff. I was unable to suction it to the window in colder March temps and had to wait until the weather warmed and the suction softened a bit. It makes me wonder if it would fall off in winter time. Anyways, I'm sad I wasted my money because it is on average 7 degrees off. I have it in the shade but it says it's 7 degrees warmer than it is.

I read some reviews of this product before buying and fully understand some of the frustrations. I think what most folks don’t understand is that temperature fluctuations occur very easily within just a few feet. These gauges in my opinion are accurate. I wouldn’t say 100% accuracy but except for weather stations professionally calibrated equipment, nothing really is. Even then! These must the calibrated using some other instrument and if you purchased more than one, also against other. I used a Weber BBQ thermometer which has very good range down to the 70s. After making the correct adjustments, 3 of these and the Weber all matched perfectly. I fully trust them. I have 8 different temperature gauges all around my house which face different conditions, from full sun to full shade, to morning and afternoon. The ones facing the same conditions are all accurate against each other, while the ones facing different conditions can vary up to 10 degrees depending on where they’re placed. I am very particular about temperature readings since I ride a motorcycle all year round and need to prepare my gear accordingly. These, in my opinion, are very good! They do a good job. They also stick very well!

Have had for about a year. Long story short, it only seems to be accurate within a narrow range of the temperature that you calibrate to. For example, if calibrated to 70 degrees, it's pretty accurate from 60 to 80. But when the temps get cooler in the fall, it's off if the actual temp is 40. Calibrate to 40, and it's good, until the temp drops to 10. Tired of having to do this over again. Will look for something else.

Too bad this device does not show temperature in degrees Celsius.
