Ordered to keep face mask from inventing the top of my nose. Pad did not hold to wear i placed it. Would not recommend.

These did not work at all. The photo on Amazon makes it look much bigger than it is. It also kept falling off my face. Couldn't use it at all.

The nose pads are similar to other pads I have used. They are not as thick as some brands but work just as well for me and cost a lot less. Has helped keep the skin on my nose from becoming irritated. I would recommend trying this this product.

I’ve tried it three times and cannot sleep using this product. They are soft and feel like they MIGHT work at preventing redness IF I could sleep through the night. They are too thick so the mask does not seal properly under my nose, or above my lip. There is a constant hissing sound that my wife can’t hear but keeps me awake. Tried tightening the mask but then it caused headaches for needing to be so tight. They are about 1/8th of an inch thick which I thought would be okay but they do not work for me.

These pads worked well in preventing discomfort and ulceration over the bridge of my nose. I also tried the ResMed Gecko but the Gecko's thickness seemed to cause air leaks around my mask. I originally thought there would be some sort of adhesive on the pad but that does not seem to be the case. They stay in place by friction between the pad and the skin. Therefore, when placing it over your nose you must be lying down and then simply place your CPAP mask over it.Addition to Original Review: The reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that although it significantly reduces my discomfort over the bridge of my nose it did not eliminate it. I still have some discomfort and some tissue breakdown.Also, in relation to others reporting difficulty in placing the pad and keeping it in place while placing their mask over it, I have found that it is important to be certain to not put any tension on the wings of the pad when placing it. Also, I not only lie flat on my back but also tip my head backduring initial placement of the pad. Once the top portion of the mask is in place you will no longer need to tip your head back making final placement of the mask easier. I hope these observations help because using a CPAP can be difficult enough without added problems. Good luck!Update: 3/7/25I was still having some issues with leaking around the top of the mask. It turned out that the issue was mainly coming from placing the pad too high. This resulted in the wings coming up above the top edge of my mask. By lowering the pad so the wings ended up just barely inside the mask most of the leaking was stopped. I'm still giving them 4 stars because I'm still having to learn exactly where to place the pads and therefore occasionally still have some minor issues with leaking at the top of the mask. This issue is greatly diminished but since I still have occasional leaking I felt I could not increase the score to 5 stars.

Applying these to your nose can be problematic. The pads stick to your fingers as much as they stick to your face, so there is some technique involved in applying these. The first application was the stickiest, and after that it didn't seem like it adhered to my face nearly as well, and getting the pad to stay in position while I got the mask on and adjusted became an issue. When I was able to get the pad fitted, it did help my nose from getting too sore. However, the pad also contributed to some leakiness with the mask seal.

This product saved my face and made it possible to adjust to and continue using my CPAP. I recently began CPAP therapy and was having a very difficult time achieving a seal. I use a FULL FACE MASK and it constantly leaked air around the bridge of my nose and base of my nose. I also began developing pressure ulcers on the bridge and side of my nose. These gel pads worked amazingly! Not only did it relieve the pressure ulcers and redness it helped my mask seal properly. They are a little difficult to place as they don't adhere to your skin however with a little finagling you can get it aligned. they are washable which is a huge plus. i would recommend these to any CPAP user they are a game changer.
