Better than expected, really grips well on ice, but determ I ne what boots you will be wearing before you order. Mine fit on regular boots and hiking shoes but not on heavy insulated winter boots!

Perfect for the ice, they slip on easily, fit good, and stay on good. I work outside so these are a must when there is ice, and they are good for ice fishing as well. I've only worn them a few times but they are holding up so far.

These microspikes are great and easy to use. I am a size 11 or 12 in womens, and I had no problems getting them securely and easily onto either of my pairs of hiking boots (one is size 11, the other 12). I am planning to use these in the Grand Canyon as the upper section of the trail will be icy, and traction is needed. I tested them in dirt, and they grip really well. They are also not overly heavy, which is important as I have to carry them in my pack during my backpacking trip when I am not using them.

A good pair of traction cleats for the ice! Not too stretchy and the spikes themselves are almost fully covered for safety. I feel like they're a bit harder to walk in! But I guess I'd try to take it slow in weather that warranted these anyway. I do feel much better having them in my car for the season!

Works great for what we need. We’re in Alaska, so I need ones that grip hard on ice. This’ll keep you upright at least on those icy days. A lot of mine have snapped when it comes to strapping these on and so far they work well for our winter.

We moved to snowy mountains and thus have been trying out a bunch of different ice cleats/crampons to use while walking the dogs around the neighborhood. Super necessary, because the first time we walked them after a cold snap I slid on some ice and injured some tendons in my hand. I don't want to repeat that. We've tried low-quality multi-packs of cleats that stretch around the foot and only have spikes around the ball of the foot (the rubber tears quickly from stretching and the spikes fall out of the holes). We've tried the mid-food wrap-around type spikes (they make me feel like i'm stepping on something hard constantly). We also have tried the kind with metal connectors like springs (they disconnected from the rubber rendering them useless). These are the first pairs we've tried that feel solidly made, have a full-foot spread of spikes, and don't budge on the foot. They take a few seconds longer to apply, but they're secure and so far have kept me upright on walks.

Best thing I ever spent $$ on! I was tired of slipping and falling on the ice and these HELPED tremendously! VERY easy to put on and take off. Love these!

Every time we get snow or ice I tell my husband that we need to buy snow cleats so we don't fall, but needless to say we have never taken the plunge! I had no idea a version like this even existed, so I was dreading having to find and purchase a literal new set of shoes when I already love my snow boots! So being able to just strap these on top of the boots that I already have and love and am using has been a game changer! They are very well made and I do not feel like I need to waddle my way down the driveway for fear of falling! I was also concerned about having them on when I wasn't literally already on ice, but I frankly didn't even remember they were on until I got to the patch of ice and realized that I was not slipping around! LOL and then once I'm in the car or done what I need to do, I can just pop them right off and go about my day with my regular shoes or boots or whatever. Sizing isn't a major deal as this size fits both my husband and I since there is quite a bit of stretch and emphasis on their versatility, which definitely enhances the value! If you live anywhere that gets ice or snow, this is definitely worthwhile.. and much better to have and not use them than to not have them and wish you did!
