This is the 3rd set of these that we’ve owned over 10+ years. They last a long time, actually have only had one break in the 6 pairs we’ve had. Great traction on rough or smooth ice, providing very secure footing. Fairly easy to put on, but you do have to stretch it over your shoe or boot. It can be a challenge to put them on if you have trouble bending or dexterity issues. But, I am 65 and have Reynard syndrome hands, along with arthritis and can still manage them. You can buy replacement cleat inserts as thes have come out on rare occasions (usually when the cleats are older and only on rough terrain). But, I’ve found it cheaper just to replace the whole pair. Overall, these are the best ice cleats for walking or running that we’ve found. We use them regularly in northern Canada winters, and would buy them again.

These do not work well for running in snow. The snow gets packed around the prongs and then they virtually don’t work and the shoes just end up slipping again. They become pointless.

I walk an average of 3 miles a day. This winter has been horrible with compacted ice and snow. After falling twice, even wearing boots, I purchased these. I wear a size 9 sneaker/boot. The small size fits tight but is perfect. The first walk I was hesitant but did not slip at all. I am back to my normal pace without fear of falling. Now, I won't walk without them. I haven't needed to change the spikes but they came with some. I will have to update this when that time arrives.

With the recent winter weather and snow storms, I decided to buy a pair after seeing someone else use these. These will save a hip! I have walked up hills in the snow and frozen snow and get great traction. Would recommend for anyone, especially elders who need to walk in adverse weather. A little hard to put on as they are snug, but they stay in place. Easy to remove. The small/medium size is perfect for 6.5-7 size women’s shoes. Functions better than I thought. Seriously one of the Best Buy’s ever.

Overall, these are pretty good but I wish the longevity was there. I haven't even had them 10 days and noticed a clear was missing (the whole piece including the turquoise disc). In all fairness, my walk is varied terrain. I walk in the street in my neighborhood and it's a combination of snow, ice, and clear streets.

Good quality. They bearly fit my size 12 runnung shoes, so the definately would not fit size 14 as advertised. They are too small for boots, unless you have small feet. In that case you would probable have to order them larger than your shoe size.

After taking a nasty spill on ice and sustaining an injury a 5 years ago, I looked into some options that would help make walking on ice safer. This product came highly recommended, so I decided to give them a go. I am SO glad I did! They are a total game changer. Whether I'm walking my dog or just walking from the vehicle to the house, store, etc., I walk on icy surfaces with confidence.I love how there are spikes under both the front and the back of the foot. They are MUCH more comfortable and effective than the ones with the coils.A tip is to be mindful when transitioning from the outdoors to the indoors (grocery store, etc.), as they can be slippery on the floor. I found that after a few waddles, I was good to go. :)I wear a women's size 9-10 and the M/L fits well.Highly recommended!

I have used this type of ice cleat for a long time during the slippery winter months. Recently the brand I had wore out, so I found these as a replacement. They are an improved version of what I had been using, and I really like the difference. To start with, the front of each ice cleat covers the front of the shoe I am wearing better than the old ones. This is important because my old ones would occasionally do this. The material is a bit tougher than my originals and has more “webbing” which keeps them tight. This also makes them a bit harder to place on a shoe, but well worth the grip. The cleats come with spare “points” (the blue circles with pins that provide the grip), something my other set did not. So, this set should provide a good deal of service life.If you have never used ice cleats before, a few tips on how they work. When standing on snow (or ice) you get a super grip. However, if you wear them indoors, on something like ceramic tile or a smooth surface you will slide. So, I recommend swapping out your footwear before you come indoors or removing the grips.

I bought these after falling on black ice and becoming afraid to go outside in icy conditions. No more fear, these work! You have to make sure they are properly attached as per the photo otherwise they will slip off. (This was never a problem for me but my mother in her 60s couldn't manage it). They do not fit on every shoe (particularly if the sole is very thick). They are noisy on concrete so you find yourself seeking out the snow and ice to walk more discretely! I have never slipped in these and been wearing them for years (every few years i buy a new pair as the rubber wears out).

Good for walking on ice. may not be the best for longs walks with patches of ice then long distance with no ice. But they seem to be good quality and work as they should.

If older like me they can be quite a pull to get on but they are great for walking on ice.
