Many of them were very high end. Some locations still had copper pipes underground.The facts:City water has all kinds of things added into it like phosphates, copper deposits from piping, chlorine, fluoride etc.Eventually they accumulate and start to damage the pools. I'm impressed with this product it really cuts back on maintenence and slows it down from deteriorating.I've had to do expensive treatments on my old accounts and the bigger the more the cost is. Super easy installation I highly recommend.

Super excited to have this filter, because we have a lot of iron in our well water which causes the hot tub and pool water to be discolored. This massive filter will allow us to have clear water through several cycles of refilling. Awesome product!!!

This thing is huge but is great to have. We're on well water and want to filter the water going into the pool. This will probably save us money on chemicals.

This is our first time using a filtration unit for our spa and pool. The unit is very straightforward, and the set-up and installation to the end of the water hose is a VERY simple process. I should note that the seller's attached videos were VERY HELPFUL! Our well has very high iron levels, that can sometimes leave orange sediment in the pool and spa water if the well is on the low side. This unit produces perfectly clean water for the refill of our spa tub. Because we ordered one of the larger size tubes, I will also be able to use it when we add water to our pool in the spring. Prior to seeing this item, I did not even know this filter existed. I look forward to seeing how water balancing efforts go in the next several weeks, after refilling with the Metaltrap filter system.

Our well water has a LOT of iron and who knows what else in it. Now that I have this filter, I can fill my hot tub and pool by the well instead of using (and paying for) the city water. This HUGE filter has a crazy 25,000 gallon capacity, so for me, it’s going to last for years.

I fill my pool and spa with water from the lake that is next to my house and usually I go though at least 2 big pool filters and about week of the pump running day and night to filter out everything. This pre-filter is big, but it filters out the lake water to be almost drinkable water as it does come out clear and clean saving me days and days of filtering with the pool pump. Connections were easy and straight forward and you do have to run some water though it at first until it comes out clear and then can begin to fill the pool or spa. Overall this is the best way to really filter out well or lake water and have it swimming pool ready in a shorter amount of time and getting the chemicals all balanced out in time for summer.
