Polarizing filters are great for making subjects pop and look almost 3D. I have included two shots, one with and one without using the filter. This filter does what it is designed to do and I am very happy with it.

At least as good as my Nikon filters and easier to clean as well. Very thin for a polarizer so great on wide angle lenses.

Excellent CPL filter. The coatings make keeping dust off: I live in Central Oregon which is a high desert climate, as well as possible water drops a "real breeze." This generation of Hoya CPL filters is extremely well made which is what I expected since I have other filters from Hoya and never had a problem with the quality of each filter.

Wonderful filter. The rim is slim so it won't block out wide-angle views, but still easy to grab and turn. The rotation is very smooth. I replaced two B+W 58mm filters with two of these, and I'm glad I did. The B+Ws were thicker, and had very stiff and uneven rotation. In my view, these are far superior. As for the antistatic feature, it seems to work -- I don't see a lot of dust after several days of use, and what is there removes easily. One note of caution. I use these on lenses for an Olympus OM-D E-M1 which has an electronic viewfinder. Often, it is hard to see the full polarization effect, so be careful of dialing in too much.

I'm not a camera expert. I did some quick searches before I purchased and Hoya gets good reviews. A bunch of "people" manufacture polarizing filters. Prices vary widely. Can my eye tell me if Hoya is better than others... I don't know. I bought the Evo based on Hoya's literature. I'm basically happy that when it was delivered that the filter seems to be well made. Amazon often places suggestions for other items to buy relative to the item. A lens cap should be shown in the suggested items list. I'll buy a lens cap to protect my filter on my next purchase.

Works great, dust isn't magically repelled by it, but it is easily removed with a cloth. Water beads and just rolls off. The filter has great build quality and produces Fantastic blues in the skies.
