It fell off and I lost it before I hit record. Sorta my fault as I'm sure I bumped it lose, but also, it's an action camera and I think this shouldn't happen so easily. I'll search for one with a tether, or screw on instead of press on.

I looked at various options for ND filters but wanted something that could be just pushed over the existing lense when wearing thick gloves and didn’t require unscrewing. I also didn’t need the polariser as I wanted consistency and the polarisers normally require precise rotation which can effect shots due to an action camera taking small knocks. Built well, comes in a carry case. Very satisfied.

Living in South Florida, ND filters are an absolute must. When it’s not raining, the sun is shining full blast, and if you want to get your camera settings exactly where you want them, you NEED these.The filters come in a well-designed case that keeps them safe, and installation is a breeze—just screw them on and off with ease. The quality is top-notch, as I’ve come to expect from all my Freewell products.If you’re serious about achieving those perfect cinematic settings, this is absolutely a fantastic buy. They are fairly straightforward to use. They attach well and for the most part, the stops are fairly accurate.Ideal for very bright situations, which are very common when you are using an action cam.

I just tested the Freewell Bright Day ND/PL kit with my Osmo Action 5 Pro, and they performed exceptionally well. As someone who frequently films outdoors in bright sunlight, it's important it is to have proper light control. This kit includes a set of neutral density (ND) filters combined with polarizing (PL) filters, which is a fantastic combination for reducing glare and controlling exposure in bright conditions. TheThe filters are easy to attach; they simply press onto the Osmo Action 5 Pro's lens. They fit snugly and securely. I used them while filming some action shots on a sunny day, and the difference was immediately noticeable. The ND filters helped to reduce the amount of light entering the camera, allowing me to use a wider aperture and achieve a shallower depth of field. I was also able to lower the shutter field to achieve smoother video. The filters come in a nice protective case, which is great for keeping them safe when not in use. Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality and performance of these Freewell filters. They're a valuable addition to any Osmo Action 5 Pro user's kit, especially for outdoor filming.

Freewell filters are well known in the action camera/drone/photography space. They have a strong reputation for high quality filters. I've used them with my DJI drones and action cams and they perform flawlessly. This set of "Bright Day" filters includes 4 of the most commonly used neutral density filters, combined with a polarizer filter so you're set to go for any outdoor photography challenge such as action sports like surfing, mountain biking, hiking, snow boarding - where reflections and bright sun can wreak havoc on your shots. These are always in my camera bag. I don't leave the house without them!

The combination of ND (Neutral Density) and PL (Polarizing) filters allows me to control both the amount of light entering the camera and reduce glare and reflections. The filters are well-made and easy to attach to my camera. I'm really happy with the image quality and how they've improved my videos.

I have a lot of filters for a lot of cameras. I mean a LOT of filters. And once again Freewell has meet my needs and exceeded my expectations. Optically they are fantastic, and they fit OVER the stock lens, you don't have to unscrew it and worry about the water tightness of the fit etc. pop one out of the case, press it over the lens and you're set. And they hold TIGHT.best filters I've found for the action 3/4/5!

Wieder mal hochwertig verarbeitete Filter für die Action-Serie ab DJI Action 3 (bis 5 PRO). Habe die Filter an der Action PRO 5 getestet, detaillierter Vergleich zur Ace Pro kommt demnächst auf meinem Kanal. Dort geht es dann auch um die Kombi mit den integrierten Pol-Filtern!Je stärker der Filter, desto kontrastreicher erscheint das Videobild. (Binsenweisheit?!)Den Original-Gummischutzring der Action 5 PRO muss man vorher abnehmen, damit man die Filter aufstecken kann. Tipp: Den Gummiring dann am besten gleich in der Transportbox, wo man den Filter rausgenommen hat über die Kunststoffperforierung stecken, damit er nicht verloren geht ...Die Filter selbst wirken hochwertig, die Transportbox machen andere Hersteller meist nicht so stabil, Freewell ist da gut aufgestellt. Ein Sichtfenster wäre aber schön gewesen. Darüber hinaus finde ich schade, dass kein ND 1000 mit dabei ist, das wäre doch mal ein Knaller gerade für Fotografie. Aber immerhin – man kann bis ND 64 "aufdrehen".Auch ein Reinigungstuch wird mitgeliefert.

Using it on an Action 5 Pro. Under certain conditions it’s not bad, for example indoors, no massive light sources. But if you go too close to a light source, it creates nasty unwanted artefacts and flares. Outdoors it gets even worse if the sun is in frame. Pretty pointless as this filter is supposed to soften highlights and flares when in actual fact it creates more nasty flares and can be very detrimental to the footage. Perhaps the strength is too high and a 1/8 would have been better, or it’s just poor quality. I removed the filter and tested the same scenes again - the footage was nice and clean again. I won’t be using it again.
