Even though the description says it will fit, it will not fit on the 840s camera. If you try really hard, you can push it maybe a millimeter onto the camera but since it is sticking out so far in front of the lens you sacrifice 20% of your field of view.

Polorized lens cuts the reflection of the dash against the windshield from showing in the camera. Works well...fits the G900 and a few others...worth the investment 👌

the oncoming headlight glair bothered me when night driving so I added this filter. Could be a bit stronger in the polarizing effect but definitely helps reduce the glair and improves the picture quality. I feel this should be part of (included) the original item. overall so far very happy
