Parma Mantel Clock finished in aged black and is supported by rectangular metal feet finished in aged gold. Charcoal finished dial with raised aged gold round hour markers and Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions, all behind a glass crystal. Aged gold-finished hour and minute hands. Quartz, battery-operated movement requires one AA-sized battery (not included).

This clock is perfect for what I wanted it for. BUT, the back that opens so that you can put the battery in does not stay closed. There is nothing that keeps it closed so it just opens and whacks into the wall. And I can't find any way to contact Amazon about it. I will have to tape the back with gorilla tape...which I shouldnt have to do with a brand new clock. If the back closed, I would have given it a five. It is pretty, silent, heavy and seems to be good quality. I just wish the back stayed closed.

Our clock that was a brushed bronze that sat on an easel finally stopped working. I had been searching for months for an almost exact replica without any luck. I finally stumbled across this beautiful piece at a higher price, then found here for about $20 less (nice!). LOVE the look of it - takes up our space perfectly.

It’s a beautiful clock, but it’s poorly built. The back doesn’t stay on. Maybe it arrived damaged?

Love the looks of this clock, but in a dim room in the evening it's not readable, even from just a few feet away. It either needs to have a lighted dial or have glow-in-the-dark hands and numbers. Haven't decided yet whether I'm going to send it back.
