I have wide feet to begin with, and the Ariat boots I bought I ordered in extra wide. Everyone’s feet are both a little different, and my right boot was a little tight and uncomfortable when I walked. I really love these boots and was trying to figure out what, if anything, I could do to make them feel better so I asked Google. One of the answers I got was to use a “boot stretcher” which I didn’t even know was a thing. Went to Amazon which is where I found this. I read the reviews and hoped it would help, so I ordered it. I was impressed with the quality of it, and loved the fact that it had metal “plugs” that you could place on the body of the boot stretcher to give you the ability to stretch areas around your bunions and corns (if you have them) to stretch those trouble spots to target the areas where it hurts the most. I’ve used it mostly in my right boot, which was causing the most discomfort, and a few times in my left boot. This really works, and far exceeded my expectations. The instructions say you might need to use it a few times to get the results you need, so I hoped that they were right, and they were. I spent a lot for my boots and would have been really disappointed if I couldn’t wear them, but I’ll be damned if this wasn’t the best investment in comfort I could make for my feet. Just like any “new” boots they are taking a while to break in, but I can actually wear them and not wince in pain when I walk. It’s a well made product and I gave it “5 stars” because it really works. You might look at the price and wonder if it’s worth it, but I now have a pair of boots that I can wear and enjoy. So that makes what I paid for it worth every penny. I can also know that when I buy another pair of boots in the future I won’t be as nervous about the possibility of them being a little tight.

Really nice wooden Cowboy Boot Stretcher. I used a boot stretch spray and the Houndsbay Cowboy Boot Stretcher on a brand new pair of boots that were on clearance at a ridiculous price that I couldn’t t pass up, however, they were “final sale” and non returnable. They were tight across the instep and hurt to wear, but not after using these stretchers. Highly recommend them. Worked well for me.

They should not be marketing these for women's cowboy boots. My boots have a 2" heel (not unusual for women's cowboy boots) and there was no way the product would go into the boot sole even without the plugs! The angle was too sharp. I looked online and a video they put out explains that any boot needs to be flat in order for it to work. This needs to be listed under the description as this is an expensive product and a waste of time for women's boots.

The HOUNDSBAY Cowboy Boot Stretcher is high quality and works very well. It is a professional level boot stretcher, so it costs a little more than some other boot stretchers. I have used other less expensive stretchers, and I was not satisfied with the quality or the ease of use. The HOUNDSBAY is made with quality wood, heavy-duty metal parts, is easy to use and works well.

I bought a pair of size 7 1/2 cowboy boots and they were a bit snug. So I bought this along with some leather spray and it’s working wonderfully. A couple more

I bought these cowboy boots and I have narrow feet. I don’t know how other people wore them but I needed to stretch them . This was the perfect boot stretcher . I bought the spray as recommended. I left the boot stretcher in all night and took it out in the morning . The stretch was perfect for the width of my foot to feel comfortable. I definitely recommend this stretcher . The price was right and the material is very sturdy .

Works great . I did read though reviews on this and on Similar ones . There was a few reviews that highlights problems with the threads on screw . In needs a little oil . I used a couple drops of gun oil . It works great . My only recommendation would be to the manufacturer. They should put a drop of oil on there . Highly recommend . Anyone who has left a review about threads damaged on screw did not lubricate it or is using it incorrectly.

Bought this for Ropers I intend to dance in. Noticed during practice my left pinky toe was thinking about creating a corn if I kept going.Searched for cowboy boot stretchers. Of all offered went with this brand for appearance of quality and design. Despite what some reviewers noted. Figured if this were true could return.I really like it. You get one boot stretcher. Not sure why some people complained in that one is enough. Or pay way more for two. Do one at a time and it’ll work fine.Upon inspection of steel parts didn’t notice any issues with the integrity or ability for the device to rotate either direction upon trial outside of the boot.My one issue, a big one, where the plugs are designed to insert does NOT align with my pinky toe or big toe. The two that have the most probability of issue. And why I purchased this in the first place.I laid my foot over the wood. Nope, not a match. Therefore, using the plug does zero for that particular zone. The shoe style stretcher has plenty of options and would work great. But I need a cowboy boot stretcher. Not sure why Bloodhound designers didn’t add extra holes.I’ve decided to do several steps. See what happens. Use the device minus a plug. Then, try the plug.If the device does a good job widening the boot enough I can add a hole myself in the proper space on the wood of decide the rest of the device is worth keeping. With Bloodhound’s design the plugs go up top and over the toe. Not extend to the side where my pinky toe is.I wear a woman’s 11. Typically wide for the toe issue on the left foot. For dancing need a snug not tight boot. If this helps then I’ll keep it for other boots. If not, then return. While in the military they had us walk in water. Then, stuff our new boots with newspaper. They were so comfortable. Not sure troops use this type of boot anymore. Leather upper and rubber sole.Anyway, I’d considered this but do not want to soak these boots. It’ll screw up the leather sole.I have treated these with conditioner and this did not soften them enough for comfort of that one tiny toe. So, here we are. With the stretcher in expanded does appear to snug the boot and expand a bit. Per instructions am making certain not to over stretch.I’ll try this for practice and if it’s a go keep the device. If it doesn’t work the first try will stretch a little more a second round. Then, see if the toe plug might help and discover if I’m missing something about the upper angle and maybe it does not need to be at toe level. The design and structure itself is five star. The plugs equal minus one star for design flaw. The human foot compared to wood plug mismatch where the space is needed.I would recommend this product and believe the quality is worth the money for lifelong use.If directions are followed and time is taken to carefully stretch the books over serval sessions if this much time is needed it is my view the stretcher will last for generations if cared for properly.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Saved me from having to get rid of $250 cowboy boots.I adjusted stretcher until snug tight, then about 1/2 a turn each day until stretched far enough. Slow and steady prevents the joints from breaking on stretcher.
