Arrived quickly and packaged well. Sizing suggestion was accurate and the little knob on top is great. These things smell absolutely amazing and I'll be getting them for every pair of boots I own. Highly recommend!

This is a very good product, I have purchased them 4 separate times. Consistent quality and fast delivery keeps me coming back. I have a fair amount invested in my boots and take pride in looking after them. I am happy with them and have suggested them to friends.

I bought these for my boots so they would keep the shape. These keep in smell and keep unwanted bugs away. They look nice and pretty durable.

12/11/24: I bought these boot trees to use in a pair of Chelsea boots that I was going to vacuum seal. The product arrived with zero instructions. After playing around with them, I discovered that the knobs on the top did absolutely nothing. I believe they are just there to assist with removal of the trees. I also discovered that their bottoms are stamped with the foot (right or left). Other than that, there are no instructions included with the boot trees. To get them into the boots, I hinged the trees 90°, slid the toes in as far as I could push them, compressed the tree, lowered the heel in, and finally released hold allowing the heel to spring back into place. I put them in a "space bag" and vacuumed out all the air. The Chelsea boots are now safely stored until the spring. However, I did have to take one star off the review because of the lack of instructions, not even a QR code linked to something to watch on-line.

These look great with a beautiful blend of cedar color. The brass is nice, the wood is sanded nicely and smells great. I love the articulation of the pieces and spring action to get a snug fit. easy to get into my boots without too much force. As far as size goes, I usually wear size 13 shoes of all kinds. I bought these for my RW Iron Rangers, size 11.5. Initially I purchased XL shoe trees and had to exchange them for XXL as they were too short to apply spring pressure when installed. The XXL fits snug and apples pressure, helping smooth the leather wrinkles some.I would purchase these again for any other leather boots I purchase in the future. I have other cobblers choice products and recommend all of them.

First let me start by saying they are spring loaded! At first they wouldn’t fit, they fit too snug and we’re rubbing on the heel. I read the trees were spring loaded so I compressed the heel to the toe and I heard it break loose and now they work great. How was I suppose to know they were spring loaded and stuck in place. I bought these originally because they’re cedar which absorbs moister and makes them smell great but I noticed other benefits like it helps with the creases on the toes. I’m have 1907’s and now I want Iron Rangers and when I get them I will buy another pair of these shoe trees. I almost returned these but now that I unstuck the spring, they work great and I’m glad I kept them.

These arrived in a Thursday Boot Co box which I didn’t expect, but realizing that, they’re a perfect fit for my Thursday Boot Co boots. I feel much better not seeing the tongue flop around when I take them off, and I don’t worry about the leather being malformed by an odd object being placed on them. The smell of the wood is strong at first but mellows out to a point where the trees still have it and keep the boots smelling nice, but it’s not assaulting my nose when I take the trees out of the boots. They’re not cheap, but they’re quality inserts. As the picture shows, I like to wrap my laces around them. When my boots are put away, I like the look better with the trees in than without them. Clean look. Clean product. I will be getting a future pair for every pair of leather boots I buy. My boots are also a size 9 for reference.

Made by the Thursday Boots people. Really like MOST Thursday Boots. I currently have 5 pair and love and recommend all of them- Captains, (2) Scouts. Cavalier, and Duke (Hated the wingtip boot, not a TB quality product, really shook my faith in the brand. Look at other reviews of this boot, not good, shame on you TB).Bought these boot trees for Allen Edmonds Hamilton dress boots. At $425 reg price this seemed like a good reason to pony-up for boot trees.Short Strokes:- they run very small so I sized up and it was correct fit length wise- they do not fill the toe-box, lose gaps at the sides, no support- do not support the upper/instep area at all so worthless for that- my Stratton split toe shoe trees fill the toe box better than these and at 1/2 the price.- I wanted something to "fill" the soft/unsupported areas not filled by regular shoe trees. These did nothing extra and actually less than regular shoe trees so back they go.Hey Thursday boot, try designing a boot tree for boots, not just a shoe tree with an added skinny shaft and no instep support. That would set you apart, that would be worth the extra money. These miss the mark. Are they "boot trees"? Technically yes. Do they give any added benefit over shoe trees? Maybe...they do give "shaft" support but that is not an area I am concerned with as they are not prone to needing support. Instep and toe box are the areas that will deform most when unsupported in my experience. It is important to fill the toe box to prevent excessive creasing and "toe-curl-up" as well as absorb moisture. I was looking for the boot tree to add instep support. It did not add any support.Even if these boot trees cost the same as regular shoe trees I would still only use the regular shoe trees because they gave better support in the toe box.
