It's not particularly smooth round, it is roughly cut. At the ends it curves in sharper. I drew a circle with it as a template and the average diameter of that circle was about 4.75 inches. If you have the attitude that you're going to cut it to size and it's just for fun, then you're good to go.

Adhesive is okay.Looks cool.Color is semi transparent, so if you’re guitar is dark wood or black. Get something else.
