I’m not really sure if my problem with these pickguard is with the product itself, or with the way Amazon and/or the sellers ship them.I bought a couple of these for some guitars for my classroom. They look good, but are very thin. Both of the ones I ordered came in very light, unprotected envelopes. This one was fine, but the other one was bent, so it’s kind of hit or miss as to whether or not yours is gonna be OK. I really think that these things should be shipped inside a cardboard sleeve of some kind or attached to a sheet of cardboard so they are protected.Just a warning: if the pickguard arrives bent, send it back. That bent area will show when you fasten it down, even if the bend is subtle. Speaking from personal experience.

Super simple to apply, good adhesive (3M) and flexible enough to be trimmed with scissors if needed. AND the black marble actually has a little bit of opalescent sheen to it, which worked out great with the abalone decal I put on the guitar. Time will tell how well it holds up, but so far I am very well pleased and would recommend it to a friend.

This is not even cut round. It is more of an oval shape. Of 9 guitars I have hanging on the wall, it would not fit a single sound hole. I had High Hopes but I had to return. PS, the people complaining about how thin it is, it is as thin as any Martin pickguard. Only cheap guitars come with overly thick pickguards.
