Tough to put on, but isn’t collapsing like the old kind (without the inner circle). You will have to adjust your opener sensitivity settings, as these don’t squish down like the old kind.

Pulling through a 16'-0" garage door was quite difficult. I ended up really damaging the end I was pulling from, but that's OK because it was cut longer than needed. I just cut off the inch or two that got damaged during installation, which was the plan all along. Good product overall.

This is much nicer than the seal on that came with my garage door. That one lasted a few years, so we'll see ultimately how long this one lasts. Takes a bit of time to install, but any replacement strip will. There is a force control on my garage door opener that needed to be increased a bit since this is beefier than what I had on there. Before I added a bit more force, the garage door was opening back up, thinking there was an obstruction. Just a little boost in force and now it's fine.

This garage door weather strip/seal is much thicker than my previous one, you can tell by the weight alone. Installation was somewhat simple if you have two people, slide your old seal off and slide the new one on. The trick for installation is to apply plenty of silicone grease to the metal track and have one person feed the seal onto the track while the other person slides the seal using two hands, essentially pushing the seal from one end to the other. All in all it took my wife and I about 30 minutes to install including trimming the excess rubber. My reason for 3 stars is because there's a clear gap on one side of the garage that my previous seal never had. I tried adjust the garage door motor to go down more, but it's as far down as possible without causing too much extra strain on the garage door components. I am thinking about maybe filling the hole in the center of the seal where the gap is with some extra rubber to maybe eliminate that air gap.

I recently purchased the Holikme Garage Door Seal to replace the worn-out weather stripping on my garage door. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the product, but there are some points to consider.Benefits:Material Quality: The EPDM rubber is both flexible and durable. It's been a couple of months, and it's holding up well against the elements.Effective Sealing: Once installed, the seal does an excellent job of keeping out rain, snow, and even small critters. My garage is noticeably drier and cleaner.Length: At 22 feet, it was more than enough for my standard two-car garage door. I even had a little left over.5/16 Inch T-End: The T-End design ensures a snug fit into the garage door track, making the seal more effective.Flaws:Installation: The product description says it's easy to install, but I found it to be a bit challenging. You'll need some basic tools and a fair amount of strength to get it into the track.Instructions: The included instructions could be clearer. I had to watch a couple of YouTube videos to get it right.In summary, the Holikme Garage Door Seal is a high-quality product that does its job effectively once installed. However, be prepared to invest some time and effort in the installation process. Overall, a solid 4-star product.

I got this seal for a 16 foot door. The t-track I have is in 4 foot pieces ( and the ends of the pieces aren't perfectly aligned). The seal I was using before did not have the 1 inch ring - it was just a U shaped piece of rubber. The old seal was already on the door when I purchased the house - and it had torn in a couple of places (this one is definitely better quality than what I had).I made the mistake of trying to install this all by myself. I was able to get it started with some brute force, but pulling it along got harder and harder and eventually I just couldn't pull it further. As others have mentioned, I did try various things to get the seal to slide better (silicon spray, lubricating power). No matter what I did, I only could inch it along and make adjustments along the length. Where my track came together was particularly challenging and kept catching. The T ends (5/16") were tight in my track. I'm pretty determined, and I did finally get it in place (but I would recommend having a partner or 2 to get it in place).I saw some other reviews mentioned that their garage door opener would reverse after trying to compress the seal. I did not have this problem (but my door is heavy and maybe mine pushes down with extra force).As I said, it was a struggle, but I think it was worth it. This seems high quality and I expect a long service life.
