I had weather and rodent damage at the bottom, inside corner of my garage door frame. I thought about using angle iron - too thick. Siding corner - too thin. I saw this at Amazon and it's exactly what I envisioned. Every dimension is what I had in mind including the thickness. I removed one nail from the rubber or vinyl insulating strip on the door frame, slid this behind it, and re-nailed. The damage is repaired and it's both weather and rodent proof. It took less than five minutes so I did the other side also. The packet included some red tape which I did not use.

Four pieces of great covers were just I needed. It's really light but looks and feels great. The tape cover was difficult to peel off though. Took me a while to peel it off. Also, the tape was not long enough for all four covers with full lengths.

I have a lot of crockets in my garage and a lot of gaps in my garage. I cut this in half and installed it on both ends of the garage (I used the included sticky tape and nails to secure it). I haven't seen any crockets or bugs in my garage since I placed this.
