A nicely made and quality finished tool . Somewhat light weight. More for hobby use and not for heavy or pro use.

These router bits are pretty good for the price. I've been using them on a few woodworking projects and they cut through wood like butter, no complaints there (except that one time i accidentally hit a nail - my fault). The set has all sorts of different shapes so you can do whatever you want to your wood. Chamfer, straight cuts, whatever. It comes in this nice blue case too which is handy for storage and keeping everything organized. The only thing I would say is that the bits feel a little light compared to some other ones I've used. But honestly, they work fine so who cares? They're compatible with all routers and do their job well enough. Plus, it comes with 15 pieces which is more than enough for most projects (I still need to try out the dovetail bit though). Overall, these router bits are a great value if you're looking to get into woodworking or just want some new tools to play around with.

I was happy with this set. If I was a pro and made cabinets or furniture for a living, I would pay for 1 bit what this set cost. Lots of cutting hard woods and the bit gets dull pretty fast. If you cutting softer woods , these bits are great.

Decent starter set. I am not a furniture builder, so I cannot speak to that, but they seem solid and cut well. (Tested on 3/4 inch pine and a 2X4 for fun. Worked great.

Look... I'm not a contractor or pro wood worker. I'm a dude with a router. These work. For how long? not sure... But they meet my needs and work just fine. I would give this a 5 star (price vs value) but it took a while to arrive. Full discloser - I have never used those bits that cost $350 for four. I don't have much to compare them too. They are much better than the Harbor Freight bits, cheap versions... which work but tend to dull fast. Oh... Good case, too. Not to big for storage and "red" so I don't forget them.Note: If you ever help my brother out with a project... watch your bits or they will go missing :-)

This is a very good set of router bits for the beginner or home user. They do not have the quality, strength, or durability of the major (costly or industrial) brands, but they get the job done rather well for some time. If I find I am using a bit again and again, I'll splurge and buy a Whiteside bit to replace the one in this kit. Unfortunately, a single Whiteside bit typically costs two or three times the price of this entire set. Some users complain about the product:1) The case is cheap and/or arrives broken: Mine arrived in perfect condition and is quite durable. With any reasonable care it should last indefinitely.2) The bits are very difficult to remove from the case: Instead of being dropped into drilled holes in the wood, the bits are each held in a plastic socket that holds them securely. With a bit of use (or with a bit of lubrication) they remove easily but are still held securely in their socket.3) The bits are dull, wear out fast, or break: Again, these are not industrial quality bits and need to be treated rather gently. They won't hold up to "hogging out" deep cuts in a single pass (especially in hardwoods), and users need to understand proper feed directions to get smooth cuts. With a bit of experience and careful use, they'll do a very good job for quite some time.Overall, this set is a great value - attractive price for a very usable assortment of the bits commonly used in woodworking. Would I buy it again? As I said earlier, if I wear out a bit from being often used, I'd replace it with a more costly single bit. If I wear out several bits over time due to infrequent use, I'd buy the set again to refresh my inventory. I'd certainly recommend the set to fellow hobby/home "wood butchers" and I think they'd be happy with the performance.

Excellent kit for the money. I was looking for a decent router kit with 20-40 pieces or so. I wanted a decent set that was not useless and one that Ill just change the bits out for expensive ones as I use them. I spent quite a few days researching, even bought a different set at first, I returned that one immediately. Absolute trash, some of the sets out there.I was immediately surprised at the quality of this for the price,1. It was actually wrapped and had a label on it2. All of the bits came well oiled3. All of the bits came sharp4. All of the bearings are smooth and freeIf you are looking for a starter set this has a great assortment of common bits and the quality really is excellent for the price.

Only used two bits so far. I have broken one already...user error. They are cheap bits, I pushed the straight bit 1/8 a little too hard. I don't have a jig saw right now, I was using it to cut out a pattern in 1in board. It snapped just as I was making my final pass. I was making multiple passes taking small amounts each time, probably my 5th pass when it snapped. I'll be more careful with the remaining bits. My box was also broken on arrival. The front row of bits had broken loose. There have been complaints about the bits being hard to get out of the case. It is a lot easier since my whole row is removable.
