Used this to widen an opening that needed to be 2 3/4 deep. I did this in 3 steps of depth and 3 cuts of 1/4-3/8 of an inch each.I had no issues with the shaft bending, flexing or anything else. I kept an avg pace while making each cut and they ended nice and clean.

Do yourself a favor don’t waste your time and money on this router bit. It is made of really low quality metal. I bought it to clean up the edge on my oak table lasted about 30 seconds before it failed and completely warped/bent, which made more work for myself. Amazon you need to stay away from this vendor. Pure garbage
